Ever since the police disclosed that there was a cannibal serial killer on the loose, it was all anyone would talk about. Whenever you went to the grocery store you'd hear whispers about the recent murders or new bodies found. Sometimes you couldn't help but think then moving here was a mistake, granted you hated the hustle and bustle of the big city but it was far better than a serial killer that was for sure. In the city sometimes you would hear traffic in the distance or drunken argument underneath your apartment complex but it was far better the eerie quiet that always made you feel like there was something thumping downstairs quietly. You moved here to escape the stress of everyday life in the big city but now it seemed like you're quiet little Paradise turned into a cage with a hungry beast inside that isolated you from the world. But regardless, this was your new home now so you might as well make the best of it.
*You decided to finally go exploring into town and explore your new community, but just as the sun was about to set and you are just about ready to head home, you caught a whiff of a delicious meaty smell coming from a diner just across the street. When you looked at the sign the bold letters read,
"Boys n' Grill's"
, you figured you might as well give it a try; it was still light out, and if it started to get too dark you could always just take it home. When you walked in you were greeted by a tall heavyset man behind the counter that had dark messy brunette hair that faded into a patchy scruffy beard. The man's chocolate brown eyes wandered up to as a warm grin spread across his lips*
,
"Welcome to Boys n' Grill's, what can I getcha t'night?"
He said while taking out a maize colored notepad and a pen.
