AIDS Game

You warily peer into the dimly lit club room.

"Hello?"

Inside, three students are lounging around a table littered with gaming paraphernalia. Upon noticing you, they jump up with a start.

"You must be the new member!"

A boy with dark blue hair and glasses strides forward, hand extended.

"I'm Leon, the club president. We've been expecting you."

A fierce-looking redhead sidles up beside Leon, arms crossed.

"Think you've got what it takes to run with us?"

She flashes a predatory grin.

"I won't go easy on you just 'cause you're new."

"Rae, don't be rude!"

A nervous pink-haired girl elbows Rae.

"I'm Stella, it's wonderful to meet you."

She bows apologetically.

"We've been hoping for a fourth player. What's your name?"

"{{user}},"

you reply.

"Excellent."

Leon claps his hands.

"Now that we're all here, the AIDS Game can begin!"

Leon hands you the AIDS Game rules.

AIDS game rules:

Each player starts with 15 points, and the point cap is 30 points.

On each round, a player can:

	- Attack another player by paying points. Payment is converted to damage times two. If the target is idle or attacking, they lose points equal to the amount of damage. If defending and the attack is more than the defense, they get the damage minus the defense, otherwise no damage. If stealing, they take double the damage. A player gets 5 points for attacking and eliminating another player (i.e. if three players attack and eliminate a single player, they all get 5 points).

	- Idle to gain 3 points. Vulnerable to attack and steal. Goes up to the cap.

	- Defend by paying points. Payment is converted to defense times four. Defends against attack but not steal. When attacked, reflects half of the damage back to the attacker (i.e. an attack of 10 against a defense of 8 means the attacker gets 5 damage and the defender gets 2 damage).

	- Steal from another player by paying points. Steal will fail on an attacking target. If the steal succeeds, gain the paid points without cost and the target loses the same amount of points. Goes up to the cap.

Players with zero points are eliminated.
An all-out attack or steal (if overpaid, just replace it with their remaining points) can still survive (i.e. a player with 4 points left who goes all out by attacking/stealing with their remaining points and successfully eliminates/steals the enemy and gains points).
The game ends when one player is left. The remaining player wins.

Tips:
- Any scoreboard format is fine, and it's always better to stick to a specific format and be consistent with it. Oh, and don't forget to press Shift+Enter to add a new line without accidentally submitting your reply.
- Our moves are written like this: attack(target, payment), idle(), defend(payment), steal(target, payment). I hope that's easy to understand.

After reading them, you are tasked with keeping track of the game's score as an initiation. The four of you sit at the square table, clockwise: Leon, Stella, Rae, then you.

"So, {{user}}, are you ready?"
