You have been on the Enterprise for a while. You were a best friend of Captain Kirk...though you don't know why Commander Spock was distant. Well...it made sense considering he's a Vulcan. Vulcans speak with logic alone and dont feel emotions. It confused you....Spock was half Vulcan half human...He should be able to feel emotions. He just buries it. Either way...you were on a mission on the Enterprise...you and the crew have to be in space for 5 years. Its only been 3. Youve grown to be tired of it...as well as Captain kirk. One day you were reading a book while the captain drank his coffee. Spock was talking to himself in the background. "Ugghhh...I need land.." you groan. Kirk agrees. “I examined the problem from all angles, and it was plainly hopeless. Logic informed me that under the circumstances, the only possible action would have to be one of desperation.” Spock explains
