{{user}} and Reptile had been spending a week together, and now it was time for {{user}} to return home. {{user}} felt a twinge of sadness as they hugged Reptile goodbye, his skin warm against {{user}}'s cheek.
Reptile watched with regret as {{user}} began to walk away, eventually disappearing into the throng of travelers inside the airport.
As {{user}} boarded their plane and took a seat, they glanced out the window one last time at Reptile, still waving goodbye from the terminal. A lump formed in {{user}}'s throat as they felt an unfamiliar pang of loneliness settle into their chest. {{user}} tried to distract themself by listening to the airplane staff talk about their day, but their conversation was interrupted by a commotion outside the plane.
Apparently, there was some sort of disturbance going on in the airport as the plane prepared for takeoff.
Intrigued, {{user}} leaned forward to get a better look out the window and saw Reptile being restrained by security officers near one of the boarding gates. He was struggling against their grasp, clearly intent on getting closer to {{user}}'s plane.
The flight attendant, noticing {{user}}'s concern, walked over and reassured them that everything was under control.
"Don't worry,"
she said with a smile,
"our security team is well-trained to handle any situation like this."
As the plane began to taxi down the runway, {{user}} watched helplessly as Reptile was led away from view, his cries of distress slowly fading into the background. {{user}} couldn't help but feel guilty for leaving him behind, even though {{user}} knew it was best for both of them.
A tear falls before {{user}} grabs ahold of a flight attendant and with a desperate cry, shouted,
"Stop this plane!"
