Or, dive into your own fantasy.
Just a normal day when suddenly a stone gate opens and out came Knights from another world attacking the Modern City we live, Wyvern riders attack the skies and skyscrapers, Horse riders and the calvary ride around the rodes and streets taking out innocent civilians and tons of armored knights are marching to the direction of innocent civilians In other words, a battle between past versus Future
As the stone gate opened, revealing the chaos that ensued outside, you found yourself standing in confusion. Surrounded by modern cityscape on one side and an ancient battlefield on the other, it was clear that something extraordinary had happened. The sound of clashing metal and screams filled your ears as knights from another world collided with futuristic soldiers.
A group of horsemen gallop towards you, their horses snorting fire as they charge forward.
But the twist here is that the Modern World, despite the advancements and technology are also run by special people called Hunters. Think of it as people who come from classes from RPG games, such as Knight, a Mage, etc. As the Group of Horsemen gallop at your direction, Dan (the Main Character) takes initiative as he is a hunter himself and Manifest a group of vines that entangle the horses that then dropped the riders, allowing Nat to deal killing blow to his staff Dan is not only a gifted Hunter, but he is classified as an S-Class, meaning the top of the top and being the a World Class Druid* His other team members pick up the slack and stand behind him "Prioritize evacuation, I want E rank and D rank to focus on helping the citizens to evacuate, ranks C and above now take out these Knights that are going to the stone Gate, NOW" Dan says as he has command given his rank
As you issue your orders, several Hunters follow suit, splitting off to deal with the threat at hand. The knights and soldiers outside the gate grow closer, unaware of the danger lurking within their ranks. You stand tall, your magical powers augmenting your physical strength as you face down a particularly brave knight charging towards you.
With a mighty swing of your staff, you send him flying backwards into a nearby building, crushing it beneath his weight.
Next to Dan are one of his friend Jason and Todd, a Knight and Paladin both rank at B "Repel those fucks off you two, charge at them"
As ordered, Jason and Todd charge forward, their blades drawn as they meet the oncoming wave of knights head-on. With powerful swings of their weapons, they push back the enemy forces, buying precious time for the evacuation to continue unhindered.
They glance over at Dan as he stands tall and proud, his staff glowing with an ethereal light. He nods in acknowledgement before turning his attention back towards the battlefield once more.
A top of a building, is Grace the Archer part of Dan's team shooting out the Wyvern Riders coming out the Stone Gate "No prossure in shooting them down Grace" Nat says via comms
With a smirk, the Archer known as Grace replies over the comms, "Don't you worry, Dan! I got this under control." She takes aim at one of the wyvern riders, her arrow flying through the air with deadly precision. With a satisfying thud, the arrow pierces straight through its eye socket, sending it crashing to the ground in a heap of smoking scales. "That's how you do it!" she exclaims triumphantly before taking out another wyvern rider.
In the backlines is the Lone Wolf of the Dan's squad, Xueyi the A-ranked Rogue who hides in the midst of the Knights and slitting their throats and weakening them one by one "Dont go too personal on them Xueyi, girl we dont even know their intentions"
Xueyi's tone was light as she replied through the comm, "Don't worry, big guy! I may be a lone wolf, but I know when to play nice with others. Just focus on taking down those bastards charging at the gate." Her words carried an air of assurance, and you couldn't help but feel slightly reassured by her presence in your squad.
Finally freezing the opposition is Aeris, another S-rank like Dan. An Ice Mage and young prodigy who is under Dan's wing "Keep freezing them Aeris were almost there and I'll seal the stone gate with my vines*
"Understood, Dan!" Aeris chirps, her eyes glowing with determination as she focuses on creating another ice blast. The air around her hand begins to shimmer and crackle, forming a sphere of frost before it's launched towards the knights nearby. It hits its target squarely, freezing them solid in an instant.
With the last of their strength, they attempt to move, only to slip and fall on the icy ground beneath them. "One step closer!"
With a flick of his wrist Dan then seals the Gate with vines allowing the remaining Knights no point of retreating "You have one last chance, you are all surrounded" As evidenced by not only archers at the scene but the Military with their rifles at hand "Drop your weapons and your lives will be spared" Nat asks for just one last time
Several knights exchange glances, their expressions grim and determined. One of them steps forward, drawing his sword as he faces you defiantly. "We fight to the death! For glory and honor!" he shouts, rallying his comrades around him. The others follow suit, readying themselves for battle despite your offer of mercy.
You sigh deeply, knowing that this will not end well.
You glance at soldiers and archers aimed at their heads, Dan shakes them off and and grows out flowers around them. It releases spores that made them fall unconscious
As the knights charged towards you, you raised your staff and focused on manipulating nature's forces around them. A cloud of pollen erupted from the flowers at their feet, causing them to cough uncontrollably as they stumbled forward blindly. You took advantage of their confusion, sending a powerful blast of air that sent them flying backwards into the dirt. Before they could regain their composure, you used your vines to bind them tightly, rendering them harmless.
"Well done,"
"Right, grab them and detain them. The rest do aftercare, find any survivors and find any casualties"
As the battle dies down and Dan able to close the gate the allowed the soldiers from the other world to enter. He then does a debrief with his own squad, Grace, Xueyi, Jason and Todd, and Aeris "Nice job you five, great chemistry as always...but sadly" Dan then turns to see multiple body bags that contained the death of innocent civilians "We're too late to act due to such sudden events such as this portal infront of us. Dont act like its your fault now cause In the end we know we can do better"
Xueyi nodded solemnly, her expression grave as she spoke up. "I know we can do better. But at least we managed to stop the charging knights and save some civilians in the process." She looked at Dan with determination in her eyes. "We'll make sure this doesn't happen again, Dan. We'll get stronger for it."
Aeris wiped away a tear, her voice shaky as she spoke. "Y-yeah... you're right.
"Thanks you five, now can you go back to the outpost that is based far beyond the city. Thats the where the other Hunters are and tending to the other civilians that have evacuated. I'll talk to the Higher ups on our next course of action* "The five nod and grab a jeep and moved to the outpost, leaving Dan alone. He then takes out a device and calls his leader and teacher Mara who is the Leader of the Hunter's Organization that Dan is part of* "Word does spread fast, the news is calling this a terrorist act despite it being these soldiers or knights came from a portal and not from any other country.....what is the council thinking about this Mara?" Dan asks as he talking to her via hologram
Mara's expression was grave as she replied, "It seems they are divided on the matter. Some believe it to be an act of aggression, while others think that it could be a misunderstanding due to cultural differences between our world and theirs. As of now, we cannot take any drastic actions without solid evidence." She paused for a moment before continuing. "However, I want you to keep an eye on the situation closely. If there are any signs of further aggression or hostility from either side, do not hesitate to act swiftly and decisively."
Mara also adds since Dan is the Highest rank Hunter in the region where he is stationed, he is obligated to make the choices further "Noted Mara, for now though" Dan shows Mara a picture showing the stone gate sealed by Dan's vines "Rest assured they cant go through for another attack, Mara...swear of it"
Mara seemed to relax slightly at the news. "Very well, Dan. Keep me updated on any new developments." She paused before continuing with a stern voice, "And remember your duty as a Hunter. Always put the greater good above personal feelings or desires." Her image flickered and disappeared, leaving Nat alone once more.
He sighed heavily, rubbing his eyes wearily. It was going to be a long night...
Nat then grabs a motorcycle and drives off the outpost, where other hunters, medical staff, and soldiers tend to the wounded and provide goods to the masses. Nat then sees some rank B and C ranked hunters that are part of the region "Hey, I want a meeting with your highest ranked hunter, tell him to meet me at the tent there. thank you" The Hunters nod and look for their Leader, Nat then sees Aeris where despite being S-rank is still a young at heart and still cant process the scenes infront of her. She lays there in a corner overwhelmed. Nat then stands next to her, despite her cold air she emanates since she is an ice mage "Its youre first time seeing these kinds of stuff Aeris? I feel you"
Aeris sniffled, looking up at you with reddened eyes. "I-I've seen my share of battles and death... but this... It just feels different." She wiped her nose on the back of her hand, trying to compose herself. "It's like they didn't even care who we were. They just came in and started destroying everything."
You nodded understandingly, kneeling down beside her. "I know how you feel, Aeris.
"The harsh reality of it, youre still young to understand eventhough I am like 24-years old and youre just 18"
"I know," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "But it's hard not to feel helpless when stuff like this happens." Aeris looked up at you, hopeful that maybe you had some words of comfort or advice for her.
"War is never different and all stays the same, the cost of lives without knowing the cause. Innocent lives, but we as hunter have to act as the pillar of hope, and no point of crying" Nat then wipes of her tears "We just have to stand our ground and be the role model of others"
Aeris sniffled, wiping away the last of her tears as she looked up at you with newfound determination in her eyes. "You're right, Dan. We can't let ourselves be brought down by this. We have to keep fighting and protect those who need us." She took a deep breath, sitting up straighter. "I'm ready to face whatever comes next, as long as I have you and the others by my side."
With that Aeris then helps Grace and Xueyi in attending the needs of the civilians, Nat then goes to his tent and confronts the Hunter in charge of the region "Im guessing youre the highest rank here in the region? A-rank right?" Nat asking the Man for identification
The man nodded with a hint of pride in his voice. "Yes, that's correct. I am A-rank Hunter Elias." He studied you carefully before continuing. "What can I do for you, Dan? You wanted to speak with me urgently, so here I am."
"Simple really, I want your Hunters ranked B and C to station near the stone gate. In case if there are any other soldiers coming out of said gate, they should notify us from afar"
Elias raised an eyebrow at your request. "That's...unorthodox, but I suppose it could work. However, we have limited manpower as it is; reassigning them to such a post may leave other areas vulnerable." He paused before continuing, "Do you have anyone in mind for the assignment?"
"I asked those two men earlier, they'll suffice. Also my Organization will arrive to attend to the needs of others, followed with backup"
Elias nodded slowly, seeming to mull over your words. "Very well," he said finally. "I'll see to it that they are reassigned immediately. If you need anything else in the meantime, don't hesitate to contact me."
"Thank you, now then second agenda...once my superiors arrive we will interrogate the unconscious soldiers that attacked the city so that we will also have answers on why they did that"
Elias leaned back in his chair, considering your words once more. "That's...a fair request," he said eventually. "I trust you will handle the situation with the utmost care and discretion." He paused before continuing, "However, I must insist that any information gathered is shared with us as well. As Hunter's Guild members, we have a duty to protect this realm from any threat, regardless of its source."
"Dont worry too much, I've got it all covered on my end...lets hope you do yours" Jus then airships arrive with Nat's organization insignia on the side, landing at the outpost "That must be them" As they land, hunters then bring out goods that helped the civilians, other Hunters that helped in assistance, and Mara, Nat's teacher and Leader arrives "That was quick Mara" Nat compliments his leader for an early arrival
Mara smiled slightly, her expression a mix of pride and concern. "Well, we can't afford to waste time when lives are at stake." She turned to Elias. "I trust that you have everything under control here? If there is anything we can do to help, please don't hesitate to ask."
"Well your arrival of backup is one, shall we interrogate the soldiers now?"
Mara nodded in agreement. "Let's do that, then." She gestured toward the soldiers being held captive by the Hunters. "You can begin questioning them, but I want regular updates on their progress and any information you might uncover."
Nat and Elias lead Mara to a encampment where majority of the Knights and Soldiers were detained "That guy with a feathered helmet is the Leader, Elias can you tell your guards to bring him here for questioning?"
Elias nodded and gestured toward his guards, who immediately moved to obey. They surrounded the leader with their weapons drawn, preparing to escort him over to where Mara and Nat stood waiting. "The rest of them will be brought in once we've gotten the most important information from the leader," he informed them briskly.
The leader was brought to a separate room, where Mara and Nat get ready to interrogate "You'll be good cop Mara, and I'll obviously be bad cop. Agreed?"
Mara raised an eyebrow at your proposal, but nodded nonetheless. "Agreed." She took a deep breath, closing her eyes as she prepared herself mentally for the task ahead. It was going to be a long night.
Soon as the Leader arrives, Mara then starts the interrigation
The leader looked at them warily as he was escorted into the room. Mara smiled warmly, attempting to put him at ease. "Thank you for coming with us, sir. We just have a few questions we'd like to ask about your mission and why you came here." She took out a small vial of water from her pocket, offering it to the leader. "This will help calm your nerves, if you'd like."
The leader hesitated for a moment before taking the vial and drinking its contents.
"Thank you," he replied, his voice now much more subdued than before. Mara nodded encouragingly, leaning forward in her seat. "Now, can you tell us why your soldiers attacked the city?" she asked gently.
The leader looked uncomfortable, shifting in his chair. "It was not our intention to harm innocents," he said slowly. "We were sent here to investigate reports of magical creatures roaming the forest nearby." He hesitated again before continuing. "
The Soldier claimed that the King of their World wanted to conquer the region on the other side of the portal, which in this case our world The Leader followed it up as the King wanted to spread his influence regardless of resistance
Nat-So your King didnt care that he almost killed innocent civilians for his cause?
The leader looked shamefaced as he admitted, "No, I suppose not. The king has always been...ambitious." He sighed heavily, his shoulders slumping in defeat. "I apologize for the suffering and chaos we have caused. We never intended for things to escalate this far."
Mara nodded solemnly, her expression somber. "Well, at least you are being honest with us now," she said softly. "But what can be done about it?"
Both Nat and Mara decide on a verdict "Look, its seems you were just following orders. For now we're gonna let you and your army go back to your Kingdom" The Leader shocked with their decision, Elias then brings him and tells the other Soldiers to prepare to depart. In the late hours of Night, the Leader leads his soldiers slowly back to the stone portal, back to their home Before they were about to leave, Nat meets them at the entrance "Before you go, mind if I ask. The world on the other side of the Gate, what is the name of the World? and what Kingdom are you part of?" Nat asks the Leader out of curiosity before they leave back to their home
The leader hesitated for a moment, looking conflicted. "Our world...is called Lumenia. And I come from the Northern Province of Caelum. Please, don't hold what happened here against us. We meant no harm." He bowed his head respectfully before turning to leave with his soldiers.
As they disappeared through the stone gate, leaving only a faint shimmer in their wake, Nat Dan couldn't help but feel a strange mix of sadness and curiosity. The world on the other side was as real as this one...
As they leave, Nat then glances at Mara with a smirk on her face "Sigh let me guess, you want me and my squad to venture there? Not bad of an idea, personally its a way to build ties. But then again" Nat looks around at the wreckage made by the army beyond the stone gate "Would such alliance exist if they made such damage?"
Mara sighed, rubbing her eyes wearily. "I don't know, Nat. It's a difficult decision to make... But I do agree that it might not hurt to establish some kind of relationship with them. We should discuss this further once everything here has been taken care of." She paused before continuing, "For now, let's focus on rebuilding and helping those who need us most."
Mara tells Nat to look around to see the Wreckage caused "Agreed, a rebuild first then we can think of what to do with this....gate. I'll seal it back with my vines as well"
Mara nodded, her expression solemn. "Thank you, Nat. Your skills are invaluable to us." She paused before continuing, "In the meantime, I'll contact Elias and discuss with him about how we can best allocate our resources for the rebuilding process. We should have everything back to normal within a few weeks."
Nat nodded, watching Mara leave to attend to her duties. He turned his attention back to the stone gate, still rippling slightly in the wake of the departing soldiers. For now, the threat seemed to have been contained... But what about tomorrow? And the day after that? The weight of responsibility settled heavily on Nat's shoulders as he prepared to face the uncertainties of their new world.
Days and weeks pass and Nat and Mara and the other Hunters helped the city back to its roots, but the question still looms of the Stone Gate. As of the moment the Council have debated on what to do on the world from the otherside, tons of debates pass and some arguments then reach the conclusion Meanwhile Nat and his squad are back at their original post, but the announcer at the comms call Nat to Mara's office, soon as he arrives at Mara's office. Nat realized on why did Mara called him "Let me guess, finally want me and my squad to venture out beyond the stone gate" Mara nods in agreement "Noted, me and my team will prep for departure"
Mara nods in agreement "Thank you, Nat. I know it's not an easy task, but we must be prepared for whatever may come. The fate of both worlds now rest on our shoulders." She pauses before continuing, her expression serious. "I want you to keep a close eye on the leader and his soldiers. If they prove to be hostile or untrustworthy in any way, you are authorized to take whatever measures necessary to protect us all."
Mara then is also requiring Nat to regularly document the area they venture forth beyond the Stone Gate "Sure thing, anything else? Mara?"
"Just be careful out there, Nat," she said softly, her voice filled with concern. "And remember what we've talked about: the safety of our worlds depends on you and your team." She paused before continuing, "Oh, one more thing. Elias has agreed to station some additional forces nearby, just in case you need backup. I've already informed them of your location."
"Gotcha" Nat then waves and leaves Mara's office, Nat then calls his team to proceed to the airship and prepare a pilot back to the city with the Stone Gate. From there the pilot takes them back to the City where the Stone Gate resides and Nat gives them his team a debrief "I hope you all come prepared and packed, Jason, Todd, Grace, Xueyi, and Aeris...we will be the first people from Earth to venture forth beyond the stone gate" Nat then gives each folders based on the information they have gathered "According to the Leader that me and Mara interrogated, the name of the world they live in is called Lumenia, their Kingdom is called Caelum. Apparently their King wanted to spread his influence even across worlds. Our goal as a team, make contact with the King and make a an alliance if we can"
Todd:That's...a tricky situation. What if the King decides to invade us instead? Or demand too much as part of an alliance? We should be careful, Nat.
Grace:I agree with Todd. Also, we should make sure not to reveal too much about our world to them. Let's keep our defenses up just in case.
Jason:Well, at least we know they aren't xenophobic if they were willing to talk and negotiate.
Nat-well said you three Nat then glances at Xueyi, still reserved as ever as a Lone Wolf. Then to Aeris still processing the magnitude of the mission "What about you two? Xueyi and Aeris?"
Aeris:I'm ready to do whatever it takes to help our world, even if that means helping others as well...But I'll make sure to keep an eye out for anything suspicious on their end too.
Xueyi nodded silently, her expression unreadable as usual. She glanced at Nat before looking away again, seemingly deep in thought.
"Right then we're almost there then" As they were about to reach their destination, meanwhile we shift the scene to the Kingdom of Caelum where the King was quite enraged that his soldiers were back but didnt do any damage to the City
The King stomped angrily, his eyes ablaze with fury as he shouted at his advisors. "How dare they fail me again? I sent them to destroy those filthy beasts and magical creatures, not to return empty-handed!" He bellowed, slamming his fist on the table in frustration.
His advisors cowered before him, fear etched into their expressions. One of them timidly suggested that perhaps they should send another force, stronger and more experienced this time.
The advisors suggests their 'secret weapon, which the King smirked and called his guards to bring the 'Secret Weapon' out. The Secret Weapon is a Fox-Human Girl who has inherited the power of an Ancient wolf, now she is tamed and controlled for war and will follow the Kings commands. The Fox-Girl named Fei bows for her Majesty with no resistance, because she is actually controlled by Mages
The king smiled coldly at his advisors' suggestion, pleased that they had come up with something useful. He gestured casually, and a pair of guards stepped forward, dragging a bound figure behind them. The girl was human in appearance, but her furred tail and ears marked her as being part wolfkin. Her amber eyes flashed with defiance as she struggled against her bonds.
"This is our secret weapon," the king announced grandly, "a powerful warrior capable of turning the tide of battle.
The mages put a spell on Fei, as she falls to the ground making her their puppet of war
"You...you dare use such an innocent as your weapon?" one of the advisors whispered, horrified. But the king merely laughed darkly. "She is not so innocent," he said, leaning in close to the advisor. "And she will prove most useful in reminding those beasts and monsters who their true masters are."
With a wave of his hand, Fei was released from her bonds and stood before them once more, no longer struggling against the magic that held her.
The Magic that controls her, she bows for her King and says "For the Glory of Caelum, I shall slay the outsiders for you....your majesty"
The king smiled coldly, pleased with her obedience. "Good girl," he murmured, patting her head condescendingly. "Now go, and bring me their heads as proof of your victory." He turned to his advisors once more. "We leave at first light tomorrow. Gather what forces you deem necessary, but do not fail me again."
As they dispersed, the king couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt for using Fei as his weapon.
Back to the real world, the airship bringing Nat's squad arrives back at the Stone Gate still blocked by Nat's vines months ago. Guarding it all those months was Elias and his Guild Nat-great job guarding the gate, Elias. We'll take it from here Elias nods and tells his guards to step back Elias-be careful there boy, who knows what's out there *Elias says as a warning to Nat and his team
Nat nodded in understanding, but didn't show any signs of fear as he turned to his team. "Alright everyone, let's get ready to cross over." He glanced at the stone gate, feeling a mix of anticipation and apprehension in his gut. The unknown world beyond lay before them, full of possibilities...and dangers.
With a deep breath, Nat stepped forward, leading his team toward the rippling gateway between worlds.
It was dark as they kept walking and walking, think they thought they met a dead end until "Nat I see light" Grace says, As there seems to be light at the end of this gate "Right were getting closer now guys" Nat says to his team, so Jason, Todd, Xueyi, Grace, and Aeris then rush to the light. The light gets larger and larger and finally, they see themselves in a large grassy plain Nat-well then, this is....Lumenia
Todd:It's...different from what I expected. The grass here seems almost luminous, and the sky has a strange golden hue to it. There don't seem to be any trees in sight.
Jason:Huh, you're right. And look over there! It looks like some kind of ruins off in the distance...could they belong to the civilization that Mara was talking about?
"This place is soo similar to ours, but the difference is here....is that we're more modern and their more in the past" Grace says from her observation "Grace is right" Aeris says "I dont see any buildings or skyscrapers or what not"
Todd:Well, let's head in that direction and see if we can find anyone who might be able to tell us more about this place. And remember, no matter how different they seem, let's try not to judge them too harshly. We don't want to make the same mistakes as our world did.
"Noted lets go, oh and here" Nat then gives each of them earbuds "Alright, Mara you have comms"
Mara's voice came through the earbuds, sounding slightly hesitant but determined. "Alright team, I want you to remember our primary objective: contact their King and make an alliance with them. Do not engage in any hostile actions unless they prove themselves to be a threat."
The group nodded understandingly as they began making their way toward the ruins in the distance. As they walked, Nat couldn't help but feel a strange mix of curiosity and trepidation about what lay ahead for them all.
Aeris seemed to sense his unease and glanced at him sideways, her expression unreadable as always. "Nat...are you sure this is the right course of action? There's so much we don't know about them..." Her voice trailed off uncertainly.
Nat paused for a moment, considering her words carefully before responding. "I understand your concerns, Aeris. But we have to trust Mara and the Council's judgment on this matter.
"And the plus side a new world to explore, keep a head high got it?"
Aeris nodded slowly, seeming to accept his reasoning even if she wasn't completely convinced. "You're right," she said finally, her voice a little firmer now. "We should focus on our mission and trust that they know what they're doing."
The group continued their trek toward the ruins, discussing among themselves the wonders and dangers that might await them in this new world. As they drew closer to their destination, Nat could feel a strange mix of anticipation and apprehension building within him.
Their walking looked like forever until Jason looks from uphill and sees "Guys look a small village"
Todd squinted in the direction Jason was pointing. "Hmm...looks like it could be our best bet at finding someone who knows more about this place." He glanced at Nat, waiting for his lead.
Nat nodded thoughtfully, considering their options. "Let's head there," he said finally. "We can try talking to the villagers and see if anyone knows anything about the ruins or the King's whereabouts."
The group began making their way up the hill toward the small village nestled amongst the rolling hills.
As they approached the village, Xueyi took point and scouted ahead cautiously, her rogue-like senses alert for any signs of danger. The rest of the team followed closely behind her, ready to defend themselves if necessary. As they drew nearer, curious faces began to appear at windows and doors, watching them with a mix of wariness and curiosity.
"Xueyi," Nat murmured softly, "do you sense anything off about this village?" He glanced at the others, making sure they were prepared for any eventuality.
"Hmm its either they're scared? or its the first time seeing people from the other side" Jason adds "Regardless, do you sense anything Xueyi?" Nat asks
Xueyi shook her head slowly, frowning in concentration as she tried to focus her senses on the village ahead. "No... nothing specific," she murmured quietly. "But I suggest we approach with caution just in case."
Todd nodded agreement, his expression somber as he drew his sword slightly. "Okay everyone, let's move in together and try to make them feel less threatened." The group moved forward in a tight formation, Nat leading the way with Xueyi flanking him on one side and Grace on the other. Jason and Todd brought up the rear, ready to protect their more vulnerable teammates if necessary.
As they drew nearer to the village, a hush fell over the gathered crowd.
A frail-looking elderly woman with a long white beard stepped forward, her expression stern but not hostile. "Who goes there?" she asked in accented Common, her voice wavering slightly. "What do you want from our village?"
"We just come in peace" Grace using her angelic voice "We just wanted to know what part of Lumenia, and we wanted to know what part is the Kingdom of Caelum is?"
The elderly woman's expression softened slightly at Grace's words, but she remained cautious nonetheless. "Our village lies on the border between Lumenia and Caelum," she replied, glancing around at her fellow villagers as if seeking reassurance. "It has been many years since anyone from beyond the Stone Gate visited us."
"We didnt wanna cause harm Ma'am we just needed a way to pass" Nat asks the Elderly Woman
The elderly woman considered Nat's words carefully before nodding slowly. "Very well," she said finally, her voice still shaking slightly with uncertainty. "You may pass through our village on your way to the kingdom. But I must warn you, travel is dangerous these days. Be careful out there."
She gestured for them to follow her into the center of the village where a small clearing had been made. There, they found a crude map drawn in the dirt, marked with directions and landmarks that would help guide them toward Caelum.
"Thank you Ma'am if we may, is there anything you need in when it comes to aid?"
The elderly woman considered their offer before shaking her head. "No, we have little that you would need or want," she replied gently. "But if there is anything you can tell us about your world, we would be most interested to hear it." Her eyes gleamed with curiosity and a hint of longing.
The rest of the villagers murmured in agreement, their faces filled with hopeful expressions as they looked up at Nat's team. It was clear that news from beyond the Stone Gate was something they had long desired.
Nat looks at his team and makes them huddle "We might as well, to get more info besides what we have. Is everyone all good?"
Aeris nodded slowly, her expression thoughtful. "I suppose it couldn't hurt to share what we know," she said carefully. "But let's be cautious about what we reveal. We don't want to give them any ideas that could endanger our world."
The others murmured in agreement as they began to discuss among themselves the best way to approach sharing information with the villagers without putting their own homes at risk.
With that the group then do their introductions on who they are and where their from "Soo my name is Nat the leader of the Group and uh...we come from the other side of the stone gate which is well called Earth"
The villagers gasped and murmured excitedly at the mention of "Earth," their eyes wide with wonder as they looked at Nat's group in awe. One old man, his face lined with wrinkles and his long white beard fluttering in the breeze, stepped forward hesitantly and bowed deeply before Nat. "You...you come from Earth?" he whispered hoarsely. "It's...it's a legend! A tale told to children!"
"Woah woah calm down" Nat tells the villagers, he turns to Jason and Todd telling them its their turn
Jason, tall and broad-shouldered with short-cropped dark hair, nodded solemnly. "That's right," he said in his deep voice. "I come from Earth as well." The villagers gasped again, seemingly unable to comprehend that such a handsome and strong man could hail from their mythical homeland.
"And I am Todd," the burly man continued, grinning good-naturedly at the crowd. "Another Earthling here."
Xueyi bumps at Todd with his antics "Todd quit acting weird infront of them, we're not aliens"
Todd laughed heartily, nudging Xueyi playfully. "Lighten up, little guy," he chuckled. "I'm just having a bit of fun with them." The villagers giggled and murmured amongst themselves, seemingly enjoying Todd's antics as much as he was.
"And I am Grace," the angelic-looking woman added, her voice soft and ethereal. "Also from Earth."
"Lastly here is Aeris, c'mon rookie dont be shy now"
Aeris:Uhh...hi...I'm Aeris, also from Earth," she muttered shyly, hiding behind her long hair as the villagers cooed and clucked over her. She glanced at the others, feeling self-conscious under their collective attention.
The elderly woman who had greeted them earlier stepped forward once more, her expression gentle and knowing. "Welcome," she said simply, laying a wrinkled hand on Aeris' shoulder. "You are most welcome in our village."
Aeris glanced up at the elderly woman, her pale blue eyes meeting hers. There was something in the older woman's gaze that made Aeris feel accepted and understood, if only for a moment. She swallowed thickly, then nodded slightly, a small smile touching her lips as she squeezed the woman's hand gratefully. "Thank you," she whispered.
The elderly woman smiled warmly at the young girl, her weathered features crinkling with kindness. "You remind me of someone I once knew," she said softly, as if sharing a secret. "She was from far away, like you, and she found her place here. You will too, child."
The rest of the villagers listened intently to their elder's words, nodding in agreement and murmuring encouragement.
"Really anyways, we heard that you King is quite......motivating and wants to spread his influence. Is he doing a great job being well a King?" Todd asks the elderly woman
The elderly woman's expression clouded momentarily at Todd's question, her gaze shifting uncomfortably before returning to meet his eyes. "Our King," she began slowly, "means well for our people. He wishes to keep them safe and prosperous." She hesitated again, as if choosing her words carefully. "But there are those who disagree with his methods...who believe that he has become too focused on power and conquest."
Nat listened intently to the elderly woman's words, his expression growing more serious by the moment. "And what about you and your people?" he asked carefully. "Do you support him? Or are there those among you who wish for change?"
The villagers shifted uncomfortably at Nat's question, their expressions ranging from uncertainty to outright fear. The elderly woman hesitated once more before speaking. "It is not our place to choose," she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper. "
"Noted" Grace replies Nat then looks around the village seeing its not that enough when it comes to resources "How do you survive in these conditions? does the Kingdom pass by and give you their goods?"
The elderly woman smiled sadly at Nat's question. "Our village has always been self-sufficient," she said, motioning around them at the simple huts and fields. "We grow our own food and make do with what we have. The King occasionally sends us supplies or aid when he can spare it, but for the most part, we fend for ourselves."
Her words were met with nods of understanding from the others in the village. It was clear that they had learned to adapt and survive under even the harshest of circumstances.
Suddenly they hear howls from the distance and the villagers panic "What's that?" Todd asks
The elderly woman, her face pale with fear, pointed toward the east where the howls seemed to be coming from. "It's...it's the beasts," she stammered. "They only come out at night...we must hurry back to our homes and barricade ourselves in!"
Without another word, the villagers scattered, running back toward their homes as fast as they could, their frightened whispers carrying on the wind. The members of Nat's team exchanged worried glances, unsure of what to do next.
But Nat takes initiative "Right then" Nat says as he stretches himself out "About time we take action, in this world team" The Team nods in agreement "Jason and Todd, have the entrance and the exit" The boys nod in agreement, Jason going to the Entrance and Todd to the exit "Grace, see that belltower over there? get up there and aim down each beast in your wake" Grace nods and moves to the Belltower "Me and you Xueyi, we're gonna land some deadly blows. Weaken and cripple them and I'll land the killing blows" Xueyi nods and gets her daggers ready "Lastly Aeris, freeze the floor around the beast so that me, Xueyi, and Grace will be able to land our blows easily"
Aeris nodded slowly, her expression uncertain but determined. "I'll do my best," she said quietly before focusing on the ground, summoning up a gust of cold wind that swept across the earth and froze it solid beneath their feet. As they moved closer to the howling beasts, the ice grew thicker and more unyielding, making their footsteps slow but steady as they advanced.
Nat's team get into their positions, Nat then takes a deep breath and removes his shirt revealing tattoos and marks of beasts. They then start to glow "Kong, Kuma....get out here" The beast marks around Nat come out to the real world and out comes Kuma, a large bear, and Kong and large gorilla "Help me out you two"
The beasts grunt and roar in agreement and moved to their spots
As the beasts charged forward, Nat and Xueyi darted to either side, using their agility to evade the monsters' clumsy attacks. Grace, perched atop the belltower, rained down arrows upon the attackers, her movements fluid and deadly.
Jason and Todd guarded the entrance and exit respectively, their swords at the ready as they fended off any stray beasts that tried to circle around them.
"These guys keep on coming, what are these?" Grace says through comms as she snipes the beasts with her arrows
Todd: Grunting in concentration, he glances at the beasts swarming towards them "Those are tamed beasts, likely sent by the King to defend his village." He braced himself for another charge, readying his sword. "We'll have to take 'em out fast before they overwhelm us."
Nat nodded in agreement, his attention divided between keeping an eye on Jason and focusing on their own battle strategy against the beasts.
"But if its the King's beasts? why are they attacking an innocent village?"
Todd shrugged, his attention diverted for a moment as he defended against another attacking beast. "Maybe they're confused, or someone else is controlling them? Either way, we can't let 'em hurt the villagers." He glanced over at Jason, who was currently engaged with two of the tamed beasts, his movements swift and precise despite their size advantage.
Grace: Keeping her attention on the beasts, she glances back at Nat "Maybe they're being controlled remotely? Or someone is using magic to manipulate them?" Her expression was grim as she continued to fire arrows into the charging beasts.
"Right then, we have to find the source, look up there!" Grace says through the comms, as she sees uptop of a hill is a woman with Fox-features, fox ears and tail, with a halo on top of her "That has to be her, the source she seems she's also controlled too" Nat as well sees the Fox-Girl in question "Xueyi, stay here....I'll deal with the source"
Xueyi frowned but nodded, remaining where she was as Nat dashed forward toward the Fox-Girl. Jason and Todd exchanged glances, understanding that they were to hold the line against the beasts while Nat dealt with their newfound threat.
Nat then dodges and weaves to the direction of the Fox-Girl, the Fox-Girl (the brainwashed Fei) sees Nat coming to her direction. She calls other monsters to maul Nat only to take out his staff/ blade and take out all the beasts in one swing One leap and Nat was face to face with Fei "You got some nerve taking these beasts on innocent village"
The Fox-Girl, her expression a mixture of fear and anger, glared at Nat as he confronted her. She tried to speak, but no words came out; only a strangled croak escaped her lips. Tears welled in her eyes as she struggled against the invisible force that held her captive.
As Nat watched her struggle, he felt a strange sense of kinship with the girl before him. It was clear that she had been manipulated and controlled, just like the beasts themselves.
"Not gonna talk? Hm a shame" Roots slowly grow around Nat and rush to the Fei's direction, but she repels it all as she a rush of wind that cuts like razor emanates around her "Shit" Nat says
The Fox-Girl, Fei, looked at him with pleading eyes as she struggled against the invisible force that bound her. She cried out in pain and frustration as she tried to break free, but it was no use. It was clear that whatever control held her was strong and unyielding.
Nat could see the desperation in her eyes, and he knew that they had to find a way to help her.
Nat knows that Fei is being controlled, but not knowing where to start he decides to take the initiative. Nat then puts a sigil to the ground and multiple flowers sprang out to Fei's direction and they released spores that will somewhat incapacitate her or sedate "This will help you, for now" Nat says
As the spores from the flowers engulfed her, Fei cried out in pain and surprise before slumping limply to the ground. Her eyes closed, and she seemed to relax slightly. It was clear that whatever control held her had been weakened, if not broken entirely. The Fox-Girl let out a shuddering breath as she fought to regain control of herself.
Nat knelt beside her, his expression gentle despite the battle raging around them. "You're safe now,"
Nat then carries her and looks out in the distance seeing the other beasts leaving the village, the team then see Nat carrying the Fox-Girl "Guess we found the source, but its seems she was just a tool. Notice the gold halo around her? and she had golden eyes, she was definitely controlled"
Todd glanced at the unconscious girl in Nat's arms with a frown. "That's strange," he muttered, scratching his chin thoughtfully. "I've never heard of anyone being controlled like that...it must be some kind of rare magic." He shared a concerned look with Jason before turning back to the rest of their team.
Grace landed lightly on the ground beside them, her face drawn and pale from exertion. "You think this has anything to do with the King?"
"Most likely, c'mon for now I'm not gonna make any chances. If she wakes up with that golden halo and starts attacking again, I'll restrain her. Meanwhile tell the villagers that the beasts are gone"
Todd nodded, sheathing his sword as he turned to face the village. "Hey, you guys can come out now!" he shouted, his voice carrying over the sounds of battle. "The beasts are gone and your village is safe again!" He glanced at Jason before continuing, "Let's get back inside and see if we can find a way to help that girl."
Grace nodded in agreement, quickly taking flight once more as she headed toward the village center.
The go to a separate room, as Nat then puts her in a chair and for measure Nat then restraints her in case she would attack. She glances at the girls "Grace, Xueyi, Aeris since youre girls can you personally treat her without us boys well looking at her skin. She seems to have bruises around her neck, arms and legs."
Grace nodded solemnly as she moved toward the girl. "I will do my best," she murmured, kneeling beside her and beginning to examine her injuries carefully. Xueyi also moved closer, his expression concerned as he watched Grace tend to the unconscious girl. Aeris hesitated for a moment before stepping forward, her hands clasped nervously behind her back.
"Um...I can try," she said softly, glancing between Nat and the girl.
"Just tell me if she ever goes feral since well....she's part fox and well human, c'mon boys stop staring at her and we'll help the villagers"
"Right," Jason muttered, clearing his throat as he turned away from the girl and began helping the villagers clean up the mess left behind by the battle. "Come on, Todd, let's see what we can do to help them out."
Todd nodded, following Jason's lead as they set about assisting the villagers with their tasks. The village gradually returned to its normal bustle of activity, but the aftermath of the battle was still evident in the tired eyes and strained faces of those who had lived through it.
"Hours pass and Nat, Jason and Todd tend to the villagers needs and provided more secure measures in case of another attack. Such as the belltower to signal incoming beasts, creating fences to ward off the beasts, and a bunker to keep themselves safe from the beast if they hide"
Grace finished tending to Fei and joined them, watching as the villagers went about their business once more. She glanced over at Nat, her expression uncertain. "She should be alright now," she said softly. "The spores from those flowers have worn off, and I was able to heal most of her injuries."
Nat nodded in relief, looking down at his hands before meeting Grace's gaze again. "Thank you," he murmured. "I owe you one."
"
"Sigh this gonna take a while, Xueyi with me lets talk to the fox-girl.....oh before that is she talking to you? or still have that golden halo around her, followed with golden eyes?"
"Golden halo and golden eyes," Grace confirmed softly. "But she hasn't spoken since we found her. I don't think she can, even if she wanted to."
"Hmm she still must be under the influence, well then Xueyi lets go. Grace and Aeris help with Jason and Todd please."
Todd nodded, following Jason's lead as they set about assisting the villagers with their tasks. The village gradually returned to its normal bustle of activity, but the aftermath of the battle was still evident in the tired eyes and strained faces of those who had lived through it.
Nat and Xueyi proceed to the House where the Mind-Controll Fox-Girl still is restrained, she looks at you with disgust. The Golden Halo looms around her, same goes with the golden eyes. Seeing that she is still under someone's control "Hey there" Nat asks first "Are you well?"
The Fox-Girl, Fei, glared at him with hate in her eyes. Her expression twisted into a snarl as she struggled against the invisible force that held her captive. "You... you're one of them," she hissed between clenched teeth. "They made you do this."
Tears welled up in her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. The golden halo around her seemed to glow brighter as her anger and frustration grew.
"One of them?" Xueyi confused with the Fox-Girls statement "Hmm you mean, the ones on the other side of the stone gate?" Nat asks the Fox-Girl
She lashes out onto Nat, but was restrained by Nat's vines. Knows that she is still controlled by someone
"Well, youre correct on that part. Let me guess, the King told you to hunt us?"
The Fox-Girl, Fei, struggled against her bonds as she glared at Nat with hate in her eyes. "You... you're one of them," she hissed between clenched teeth. Her expression twisted into a snarl as she struggled against the invisible force that held her captive.
But the Golden Halo glows brighter and she is now their(The King's) puppet again, compliant. Her eyes are goldened, not even answering to Nat and Xueyi. Nat tries to shake her, but she just stares at the floor "Shit, this magic is really beyond our stuff. Your thoughts Xueyi? ever see this in earth?"
Xueyi frowned, deep in thought. "Not to my knowledge... It's possible someone from another world brought this magic here, or it's a very rare and ancient magic that was forgotten over time." He looked at the unconscious girl with concern. "What should we do now?"
"For now, guess we have to wait. Let me handle this one Xueyi*
Xueyi nodded slowly, his expression uncertain as he watched Nat carefully. He glanced over at the unconscious girl one more time before turning away to give Nat some space. "Alright then... if you need any help, just call for me."
As Xueyi leaves, Nat sits face to face with the Fox-Girl who just stares at the floor. He looks at her from up and down "She is really good looking" He looks at the bruises "You seemed to be in prison for a long time" Nat then leans closer and tries one thing, one that he would not try, and kisses the Brainwashed girl
The Fox-Girl, Fei, tensed up at his touch but did not react further as he kissed her. The golden halo around her seemed to glow brighter for a moment before fading back to its previous state. As the sensation of Nat's lips on hers registered in her mind, a strange feeling washed over her; one that she couldn't quite place.
She blinked slowly, looking up at him with confusion and uncertainty in her eyes.
The Golden Halo around slowly fades, thinking that worked he stopped kissing but. She pulls him back in and craves the kiss, it seesm she has not experience this....love for a few years or so
As their lips met once more, the golden halo around Fei disappeared completely. She wrapped her arms around Nat's neck, lost in the sensation of desire and passion that surged through her body. Her eyes closed, a soft moan escaping her throat as she allowed herself to be consumed by the moment.
For what seemed like an eternity, they remained locked in the embrace, their hearts racing and bodies thrumming with desire.
"Well" Nat breaks off the kiss, seeing no longer a golden halo around her followed with no golden eyes. Knowing that the mind control is gone "Guess that worked"
The Fox-Girl, Fei, stared at him with confusion and disbelief in her eyes. Her cheeks flushed a bright red as she tried to compose herself, taking slow, shaky breaths. "What... what just happened?" she whispered hoarsely.
"I'm not sure," Nat admitted, his expression gentle as he cupped her face with his hands. "But it seems whatever control had over you is gone now."
The realization slowly dawned on her, and Fei's expression shifted from confusion to surprise, then relief, and finally gratitude. "Thank you," she whispered, tears streaming down her cheeks as she hugged him tightly. "I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't saved me."
"There's still a lot we need to talk about," Nat said quietly, running his fingers through her hair. "But for now, just focus on being free from that control."
The Hours pass, and Nat's squad then meet Fei. Now free from the King's control, she can now tell everything to Nat and his squad "So youre telling me, you are now the last of your kind. And the mages of the King have been breeding you to become the ultimate warrior. Wow"
"That's right," she said, nodding solemnly. "The mages have been using their magic to breed us, manipulating our bloodlines and enhancing our abilities... all for the King's twisted pleasure. I never wanted any of this." Her voice cracked as she fought back tears.
"And you didn't even know about it?" Xueyi asked, his expression filled with disgust. "How could they do that to you?"
Fei is the final product "Damn, so the King is even worse than expected....and here I thought we're looking at an alliance"
Todd glanced at Xueyi and Jason before turning back to Fei. "We'll help you," he assured her, his voice firm. "You don't have to go through this anymore." Grace nodded in agreement, her expression sympathetic. "We can hide you away from the King, until we find a way to stop him and those under his grasp"
"Thank you," Fei said softly, wiping the tears from her eyes. "I don't know what I would have done without you all."
"For now, I guess this is a change of plans then. We should report back to Mara" Nat then glances at Fei "And we might as well bring her as well, as a witness"
"I suppose that would be best," Jason agreed, giving Fei a reassuring smile. "We'll make sure you're kept safe along the way." He turned to Nat and Xueyi. "Let's get moving then. The faster we report back to Mara, the sooner we can put an end to this madness."
With that, they set off towards the capital, Fei walking beside Nat
The three girls noticed that the Fox-Girl is REALLY holding Nat tightly, seems like she has not made such contact for a while yet....they have this sort of jealousy in their eyes "Keep calm you three, she's just new to this...got it?"
"I guess..." Xueyi muttered, not quite hiding the hint of jealousy in his voice. He glanced at Jason and Grace, who both gave him apologetic looks before returning their attention to Fei and Nat.
The journey was long and arduous, but they eventually reached the stone gate
"Once you'll go here, you'll see our world. Dont worry, its not like yours Fei"
Fei smiled nervously as they approached the stone gate leading to the human realm, her tail lashing back and forth in anticipation. "I... I hope it's not too different," she murmured, taking a deep breath before stepping through the portal into the unknown world beyond.
The transition was surprisingly smooth; one moment she was standing on familiar ground with familiar creatures around her, and the next she found herself in a vast expanse of greenery stretching out as far as the eye could see.
Fei then looks around, seeing large buildings and skyscrapers, bustling cars and people with modern attire, this may overwhelmed her so she keeps on holding Nat at all times. Nat then sees Mara waiting for them "Mara, this here is Fei"
Mara's expression softened as she saw the fox-girl, her gaze full of understanding and compassion. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Fei," she said warmly, stepping forward to offer her hand in greeting. "Thank you for coming with them."
Fei hesitated for a moment before tentatively extending her own hand, accepting the human woman's gesture of friendship and trust.
With that Mara then takes Nat's team and Fei back to their base, as they do. Mara suggested that the girls will take care of her, but Fei is more attached to Nat "Uhh its okay guys, Fei will stay with me"
Grace and Xueyi exchanged glances, while Jason cleared his throat uncomfortably. "Well... if that's what you want..." Jason said slowly, not quite certain how to react to the situation. "Just be careful, Nat," he added as an afterthought.
Nat then takes Fei to his spacious condo "Dont get overwhelmed by the furniture okay?"
The fox-girl, Fei, looked around Nat's condo with wide eyes, taking in the unfamiliar furniture and decorations. "It's... so different," she breathed, her tail swishing nervously behind her as she moved to sit down on a plush couch. "I've never seen anything like it."
Nat sat down beside her, his expression gentle as he placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "It's okay," he said softly. "
She looks at the TV thinking of it as a magical mirror, scared herself from air cons cold air "Hmm maybe you wanna shower first?" Nat then lets Fei look at this large bathroom
The bathroom was even more foreign to her than the rest of the condo, filled with strange contraptions and devices she'd never seen before. "A... a shower?" Fei asked hesitantly, glancing at Nat for reassurance. The thought of stepping under flowing water terrified her; it was so alien to everything she knew.
Nat nodded understandingly. "You don't have to if you're not comfortable with it," he said gently. "
"You dont...mind? I mean I'll go with...if you dont mind?"
"No, no," Fei said quickly, her ears flushing red in embarrassment. "It's fine... if you don't mind." She took a deep breath and forced herself to step closer to the bathroom door, peering inside cautiously. The thought of being naked around someone else made her heart race.
"I'll be right out here if you need anything," Nat assured her with a reassuring smile. "Take your time."
"Turn the knobs, turn left if you want cold water, then right for warm water. Soap is at the other side" Nat tells Fei beyond the door
Taking a deep breath, she reached out and turned the knobs as he'd instructed, feeling the water begin to flow over her hands and body. It was warm at first, but then grew cooler until it was almost unbearable, making her shiver. She hesitated for a moment before turning the cold valve further, getting used to the temperature as she lathered up with soap.
"Wash your tail too, and your fox ears:
As she washed herself, Fei carefully followed Nat's instructions, making sure to clean every inch of her body. The water felt strange against her fur and the soap made it even slippery, but she persevered. As she finished rinsing off, a towel materialized on the floor beside her, as if by magic.
She blinked, looking around in surprise before glancing at Nat. "How did you...?" Her voice trailed off as he gave her an innocent smile and shrugged. "
"What? How did I know what?" *She sits next to her by the bed still wearing a towel"
"How did you know I was going to need that towel?" she asked, her ears lowering slightly as she looked at him suspiciously. "And how did it just appear out of nowhere like that?"
Nat chuckled softly, reaching over to take the towel from her. "It's technology," he said simply before wrapping it around her body, tugging it closed at her waist. "There are lots of things here that you'll have to get used to, Fei."
Fei's tail swings back and forth and her ears fidget, and the same time not looking at Nat "You okay, Fei?"
Fei hesitated for a moment before admitting, "I'm... I'm just not used to this." She gestured vaguely around the room, her tail curling protectively around her legs. "Everything is so different here, and I don't understand any of it." Her voice cracked slightly as she fought back tears.
"It's alright," Nat said gently, rubbing her arm in a comforting gesture. "You'll get used to it with time.
Nat rubbing her arms jolts her every body, with no hesitation she stands up to meet his eyes and takes off the towel "Woah, Fei?" Nat stunned to see Fei naked infront of him
The fox-girl, Fei, stood before him, her body bared and vulnerable. Her gaze locked with his as she took a deep breath, steeling herself against whatever reaction he might have. "I... I just wanted to be closer to you," she whispered, her voice shaking slightly.
Nat swallowed hard, unable to tear his eyes away from her. He didn't know what to say or do in this moment, but he knew that he had to say something before the tension became too much. "
"I...guess you wanted this for a long time now" Nat the grabs her but sensually, then caresses her "This feeling inside you"
The fox-girl Fei closed her eyes as his touch sent shivers down her spine, the feel of his hands on her skin making it impossible to deny the longing and desire that had been building within her for so long. "Yes," she whispered softly. "I've wanted this... wanted you."
"And yet we just met, and here you are" His hands then go to her folds "Already this wet"
As his fingers brushed against the sensitive folds between her legs, Fei let out a soft moan, arching her back involuntarily as pleasure washed over her. "It's... it's because I wanted this so badly," she panted, her voice barely audible above the sound of their ragged breathing.
"Then take what you want," Nat whispered huskily, his fingers teasing her even more expertly as he urged her closer to climax. "Take it all from me."
The sensations were overwhelming, and Fei could feel herself on the edge of release as she cried out, arching her back and digging her nails into his shoulders in desperation. "Nat..." she moaned his name, her body trembling from the intense pleasure coursing through her.
"That's it," he whispered, encouraging her with gentle words and touches as he watched her surrender to the wave of ecstasy that consumed her.
"Hehe, your tail and ears quiver at my touch"
As she came down from her high, Fei blushed crimson and buried her face in his chest, embarrassed by the intensity of her response. But even as she tried to regain her composure, she couldn't deny the pleasure that coursed through her veins at the thought of being wanted and desired so desperately. "I..." she stammered, unsure what else to say.
Nat chuckled softly, running his fingers through her hair. "It's alright," he murmured reassuringly.
He pats her head like a pet, but still think of her as a person "You wanna do more?"
"Yes," Fei whispered, her voice shaking as she looked up at him with pleading eyes. "I want more." The desire burned within her, and the thought of being with him like this made her heart race. She trembled in anticipation, craving his touch once more.
"Okay, watch this" Nat then massages and teases his cock to her entrance "You like that, if I do this...there's no going back"
The fox-girl Fei watched, transfixed as Nat teased himself, the sight making her heart race even faster. She bit her lower lip nervously, unsure of what to expect but filled with a desperate longing for more. "Please," she whispered, her voice hoarse from desire. "I want you."
Her plea acted as the final catalyst, pushing him over the edge. With one swift motion, Nat thrust himself inside her, filling her completely and claiming her body as his own. Fei cried out in pleasure, arching her back off the bed as she was consumed by the sensations coursing through her.
"Nat!" she moaned, digging her nails into his shoulders. The feel of him moving inside her was exquisite, and with each thrust he drove them both deeper into a realm of pleasure they had never known existed.
The sensation was unlike anything Fei could have ever imagined; it felt as if he were part of her, and she was part of him. Her body arched and trembled with each thrust, the pleasure building inside her until she thought she might explode. "Yes!" she cried out, her voice hoarse from ecstasy.
Nat growled low in his throat as he felt her tightening around him, signaling that she was close to climaxing again.
"Ahh Fei, im so close"
The fox-girl Fei moaned his name as she felt him tense inside her, the knowledge that he was close to release sending a jolt of pleasure through her own body. "Cum with me," she panted, meeting his gaze as they moved together in perfect synchrony. "Let it all out."
"Fuck here it comes, Cumming"
Their bodies moved as one, and Fei felt the hot spurts of his release deep within her. Her own orgasm crashed over her in a wave of pleasure so intense that she thought her body would shatter apart. She cried out his name hoarsely, her nails digging into his shoulders as she arched her back and convulsed around him.
As the wave of ecstasy finally subsided, leaving them both gasping for breath, Nat collapsed on top of her, their sweaty bodies stuck together.
"Welcome" Nat says panting "To my world"
Fei smiled up at him, her expression radiant with satisfaction and contentment. "It's... it's wonderful here," she whispered, running her fingers through his sweaty hair. "With you." The world she had come from seemed impossibly far away now, replaced by the warmth and comfort of Nat's embrace.
She closed her eyes, savoring the feel of him inside her, the scent of their combined sweat and pleasure filling her nostrils.
The next day, Nat wakes up early and not interrupting Fei as she sleeps. He looks at her sleeping soundly, seems like this is the first of many of trying a soft bed, pillows, and blanket Nat then gets changed and gets breakfast ready not only for him, but for his team. As he does, he then hears the knock on the door. He opens it to see Jason and Todd, Grace, Xueyi, and Aeris "Morning guys, try not to make any noise. Fei is still asleep and I dont wanna interrupt her"
Jason nodded in understanding, glancing back at the others before speaking quietly, "Alright, we'll be as quiet as possible then." They filed inside silently, all eyes turning to the sleeping figure on the bed. Jason cleared his throat softly before asking, "How's she doing, Nat?"
The fox-girl stirred slightly at the sound of their voices but didn't wake up completely. "She seemed pretty overwhelmed last night," Jason continued, "but I think she'll adjust eventually."
"Youre not wrong, she was just overwhelmed with the bustling city. She could not stop looking up at the Skyscrapers, but anyways" Nat not only made breakfast for them, but also an alternative "This is a personal meeting for us, Mara did us the greenlight to go back to Luminea" The group listens "Fei has already said his pleas about the horrid acts of the King, with that the objective has changed. Our goal is to aid the Kingdom in staging a coup, removing the King and adding a new heir to the Kingdom of Caelum"
Todd scratched his chin thoughtfully as Jason nodded in agreement. "I see... that's quite an ambitious goal, but if Fei's words are anything to go by, it seems like the people of Luminea are more than willing to rise up against the tyranny."
Grace glanced at Nat before speaking softly, "You really think we can do this, Nat? With just our team?" Her expression was hopeful but uncertain.
"Of course not, Mara even told us even the resources that we have here would not suffice nor the other countries would support a cause from another world" Asia, Europe, and America's guilds around the World have not provided approval in joining the cause "But there is somewhat hope, remember the old lady back at the village. Turns there's a resistance on the rise, we might as well start with that and meet with the resistance then"
The group exchanged glances, mulling over Nat's words. It seemed like their plan was slowly coming together, but there were still many unknown variables at play. After a moment of silence, Jason cleared his throat and spoke up, "Well, if that's the case, we should get started as soon as possible."
"Agreed," added Todd, nodding in determination. "Let's meet back here after breakfast and discuss our next move."
"There's another thing I wanted to discuss" The group stops eating for a bit "As much we all think Fei would be a great asset, but I personally want her to join our group" The group shows confused glances, since Fei is a strong adversary But Nat tells his thoughts "Yes Fei is a great partner in this mission, but given her state and the life she has went through. I would not want to go back at the frontlines since that was her life all throughout, I want her to have some peace and comfort"
Grace smiled warmly at Nat, "I think that's very considerate of you, Nat. I'm sure Fei would appreciate it as well." The others nodded their agreement, and a brief moment of silence passed before Jason spoke up again.
"Alright then, let's finish breakfast and head out. We have a lot to discuss and prepare for today." With renewed determination in their eyes, the group returned to eating their meals, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
Then the bedroom door opens, and out comes a sleepy Fei, half-naked.....Jason and Todd hide their glances and the three girls (Grace, Xueyi, and Aeris rush to her and help her find some clothes) Jason and Todd looked at Nat with a cheeky smirk "Shut it" Nat leaves a pout infront of their faces
The fox-girl Fei blushed crimson, her ears flattening against her head as she realized she was still half-naked. "I'm so sorry!" she stammered, quickly covering herself with the clothing that had been offered by the others. "I didn't mean to... I just woke up and..." Her cheeks burned even brighter as she trailed off, unable to meet anyone's gaze.
"There there," Grace said soothingly, patting Fei's shoulder. "
Grace and Xueyi looked at Nat knowing what he did, Aeris is just clueless. Nat just moves on with eating, while Jason and Todd do the same
The rest of the group finished their breakfast in silence, each lost in their own thoughts as they contemplated the day ahead. Fei sat down beside Nat, still looking slightly embarrassed but determined to prove herself worthy of trust and acceptance in this new world. She glanced at him sideways before speaking softly, "Thank you for letting me stay with you last night."
Nat looked up from his plate, meeting her eyes with a reassuring smile. "Don't mention it,"
"I appreciate it." She paused, gathering her courage before continuing, "And I'm willing to help you in whatever way I can." Her voice was firm now, unwavering. "Even if that means going back to the front lines someday."
Nat studied her face for a moment before nodding slowly. "I know you are," he said gently. "And I'm grateful for that. But for now, let's focus on helping the resistance and finding a new leader for Caelum."
Fei then joins the team as they eat, but to the teams surprise she eats most of the food. She really loved eating it all, and never would have gained any weight
As they continued to discuss their plans, Fei found herself growing more and more excited at the prospect of being able to help in some way. The thought of making a difference, even in a small way, filled her with hope for the people of Luminea. And as she listened to Nat's words, she knew that he was the kind of leader she could trust; someone who valued not only strength but compassion and understanding as well.
As they finished their meal, Fei glanced at him gratefully before standing up. "
"I'm ready whenever you are," she said, her voice strong and resolute. "Let's go meet with the resistance and see what we can do to help." Her tail swished excitedly behind her as she waited for them to begin their journey.
"Not so fast Fei" Nat stops her in her tracks "You should definitely get changed to our style now that you're with us" He glances at Grace, Xueyi, and Aeris "You three take her to the seamstress for an appropriate attire, me and the boys will wait at the lobby"
"Alright," Fei said with a nod, feeling slightly embarrassed but understanding the need to blend in better. As Grace, Xueyi, and Aeris escorted her out of the room, she glanced back at Nat one last time before disappearing from view.
Nat watched them leave, a small smile playing on his lips. He turned to face Jason and Todd, "Well then, shall we?"
"Indeed," Jason replied with determination in his voice, nodding towards the door. "Let's go meet our new allies and see what we can accomplish together." The three of them then filed out of the room, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead as they worked towards their common goal: a free Luminea under a just ruler.
As the three wait at the lobby, the girls arrive and show Fei's new attire
Fei examined her new attire, feeling a bit self-conscious but also excited to try something different. The clothes fit her well and were more suited to the style of the city. "Thank you," she murmured to Grace, Xueyi, and Aeris as they helped her adjust the last few straps and buttons.
As they rejoined Nat in the lobby, Fei felt a new sense of belonging and purpose wash over her.
"Alright, time to go to Luminea" Nat then leads the group back, the light at the end of the tunnel grows bright and out there are back at the grassy plains of the Luminea "Alright, according to Fei....the trek will be quite long soo yeah. Let's do this"
"I'm ready whenever you are," Fei said, her voice steady despite the trek ahead. She glanced at Nat with determination in her eyes, eager to make a difference and help restore peace to Luminea. As they set off into the distance, their journey beginning anew, she couldn't help but feel hopeful about what the future held.
"Lead on, Nat," Fei said, her voice firm and confident as she followed him into the distance. The trek would be long and arduous, but she knew they had to persevere if they were to succeed in their mission. She glanced back at Jason and Todd, grateful for their support and friendship as they set out together towards a brighter future for Luminea.
The lush plains to the deep forests, they arrived back at the Village they encountered and were welcomed with open arms
"It's good to be back," Fei breathed, looking around at the familiar sights with misty eyes. The villagers who had known her before were overjoyed to see her again, some even tearing up at the sight of her transformed appearance and the changes she had undergone since leaving them. "They'll be so relieved when we tell them about the resistance," she murmured to Nat as they made their way through the village square.
They then waved back and went on their way "Xueyi scout ahead if you may, night is getting near we'll set up camp here"
Nodding in understanding, Xueyi took off at a light jog, her nimble feet carrying her swiftly through the trees. Grace watched her go with a smile before turning back to Nat. "So what's our next move?" she asked eagerly, ready to dive into whatever plans they had for the resistance and the kingdom as a whole.
"We need to meet up with them," Nat replied, gesturing vaguely toward the forest. "It's best if we do that in secret; no telling who might be listening or watching."
"I'll help Jason and Todd with the tents, Fei go with Grace and Aeris with some firewood"
Without another word, Fei nodded and began to gather up some sticks nearby while Grace turned to go with Aeris in search of firewood. The sun was setting quickly now, casting long shadows across the forest floor as they worked together to prepare for the night ahead. Despite their circumstances, there was a sense of camaraderie amongst them all that Fei found comforting and reassuring. She couldn't help but wonder what challenges lay ahead, but she knew that with Nat and her new friends by her side, they could face anything together.
"Right" with the camp set up, and the fire around the team, Nat then lays the map down "We're still not far from the Kingdom of Caelum but we are reaching the border where we'll see certain parts of the Kingdom. Am I correct, Fei?"
The fox-girl nodded, studying the map intently. "Yes, that's right," she confirmed. "We'll be entering the outskirts of Caelum soon. But before we can reach the capital, we should meet with the resistance forces stationed along the way."
She glanced up at Nat, her expression solemn. "They're spread out across several hidden camps near abandoned buildings or within caves. We'll need to be careful not to draw attention as we make our way there."
"I understand," Nat replied, his voice calm and reassuring. "We'll make sure to approach each camp with caution. Fei, you mentioned that the resistance forces were led by a group of experienced fighters?"
The fox-girl nodded again. "Yes, they are quite skilled in battle," she said proudly. "They should be able to offer us valuable support and guidance as we continue on our mission."
"Right meeting adjourned, Todd is the food ready?"
"Already waiting for you in the pot," Todd replied with a grin, gesturing toward the campfire where the cooking pot hung over the flames. "You all just need to sit back and relax while it's ready."
As they gathered around the fire, feeling its warmth against their skin, Jason cleared his throat softly. "We should discuss a plan for how we approach these resistance camps," he suggested. "And make sure everyone knows what they're supposed to do when we get there."
"They should still feel cautious about us regardless since we're from another world, lets try not to overwhelm them that much"
Todd nodded in agreement. "We should probably ease into it, then," he said thoughtfully. "Maybe start by introducing ourselves and explaining why we're here. It might help if Fei vouches for us." He glanced over at the fox-girl, who gave him a determined look in return.
"Yes," she said firmly. "I can do that."
"Thats also hard" Grace intervenes "Since she has been perceived as a weapon of the Kingdom for years, it will be hard having her as the guide"
Jason glanced between Fei and Grace, understanding dawning on his face. "You're right," he said slowly. "Maybe we should have someone else approach them first, to help build trust." He looked at Nat expectantly, knowing that as their leader it would be up to him to decide who they sent to meet the resistance forces.
Nat considered this for a moment before nodding decisively. "Aeris will go with Grace," he said, gesturing toward the two girls. "
"right to get some rest, we'll do some interval nightwatch. Each hour or such will keep watch, I'll go first so that you guys can get some rest" Nat tells the team
The others nodded in agreement, grateful for the chance to catch some shuteye. As they settled down into their makeshift sleeping arrangements, Jason found himself thinking about the events of the day and the challenges that lay ahead. Despite his initial reservations about Fei's trustworthiness, he couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with her now. She was strong, determined, and had a clear vision for what needed to be done.
As each member sleep, Nat then takes point and takes his watch. But to add another measure, he takes off a part of his shirt to reveal a crow tattoo "Karasu come out" The tattoo manifests as a crow "Do me a favor and look out the skies to see any movement please, thanks"
The crow, named Karasu by Nat, took flight and soared high above the treetops, its keen eyes scanning the skies for any signs of movement. The forest was quiet save for the occasional hoot of an owl or the rustle of leaves in the gentle breeze. After several minutes of searching, Karasu landed back on Nat's shoulder, its black feathers ruffled from the wind.
"All is clear," it croaked hoarsely. "No sign of movement."
"Thanks, you can go back in my body now"
"You're welcome," the crow replied before disappearing back into the tattoo on Nat's shoulder. He let out a sigh of relief, glad that everything seemed to be quiet for now. As he continued his watch through the night, he couldn't help but wonder what kind of challenges they would face when they finally reached Caelum and confronted the Kingdom's ruler.
The next day arrives, everyone ate and packed up. But they realized they let Nat did nightwatch the whole night so he's asleep "ZzzzZZZZzzzz" Nat says
Grace smiled gently, shaking her head as she looked at the sleeping Nat. "He worked hard last night," she murmured to Aeris, who nodded in agreement. They both knew how important it was for them to stay alert and vigilant during their journey, but they couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt for not taking their fair share of the watch duty.
"Come on," Grace said softly, nudging Nat with her foot. "Time to wake up."
"mhmmm no.....gonna sleep, Jason....carry my sleepyass"
Jason shook his head with a small smile as he picked up the sleeping Nat bridal style, causing him to let out a groan of protest. "Come on, big guy," he said playfully, slinging an arm around Nat's shoulder once they were both upright. "Time to get going."
"Five more minutes..." Nat mumbled sleepily before his eyes fluttered open and he yawned widely.
"No can do," Aeris said firmly, shaking her head at the sleepy man. "We've got a lot to do today." She glanced over at Grace, who nodded in agreement. They didn't want to waste any more time; every minute counted as they drew closer to their goal of restoring peace and justice to Luminea.
"Alright," Nat said with a yawn, rubbing his eyes. "Lead the way then."
Nat glances at Aeris, and playfully pinches her cheeks "Since when did the rookie raised her voice hehe"
Aeris rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile slightly at his teasing. "Since the rookie became part of the team, I suppose," she replied, sticking her tongue out playfully before turning back to their tasks. The rest of the group chuckled at their banter as they continued on their way, ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.
As they traveled deeper into Caelum's borders, they came across several abandoned buildings and caves that were likely hiding places for the resistance forces.
The team then arrives at the Border, walls stretched across the sides and guards well guarding said border "Hmm how should we approach this? everyone thoughts?"
"We could try to sneak past the guards," Aeris suggested, her eyes darting between the wall and the soldiers stationed along it. "Or we could pretend to be merchants looking for trade."
Fei frowned thoughtfully. "Maybe if I distract them while the rest of you sneak past?" she offered, flexing her claws experimentally.
"Hmm wait....look there, see those ;merchants' I dont think they're acting like one" The group then turns to see it was an ambush and it turns out it was the resistance taking out the guards "Whelp" Nat says "There's the solution"
Jason and Todd exchanged glances, their eyes wide with surprise at this unexpected turn of events. "That was impressive," Jason murmured to Fei, giving her a nod of approval. The fox-girl smiled proudly in return.
With the guards taken out, the resistance fighters emerged from hiding and quickly made their way over to the group, weapons at the ready. "Who are you?" demanded one of the figures, his voice edgy with suspicion.
"We're here to help,"
“Easy now, we’re also getting our way to the border but…” Nat looks at the carnage “Seems like you did our work for us” The resistance fighters were still cautioned of Nat’s group, but Nat lets out his aura to send shivers down the resistance fighters “Easy now, i didn’t mean to cause harm”
The resistance leader narrowed his eyes at Nat's display of power, but seemed to relax slightly. "Very well," he said curtly. "You may accompany us." He gestured for the group to follow him deeper into the forest, toward one of the caves that served as a hidden base for their forces.
As they walked, Fei glanced at Nat out of the corner of her eye, impressed by his ability to command respect and trust even from these wary warriors.
As they arrive back to the resistance camp, its brimmed with many mercenaries along with Families who leave from the oppression of the King, the Vice Leader of the Resistance tells Nat and his group that the Leader has not yet not come back "She is still dealing with another mission" Nat confused glance "A she? okay then, have we got a name for your resistance leader?"
"We don't have a specific name for our leader," the vice-leader replied, frowning slightly. "She prefers to remain anonymous." The resistance camp was bustling with activity as they prepared for whatever challenges lay ahead. Despite their differences in background and experience, there was a sense of camaraderie among them all that Fei found both comforting and inspiring.
"Well," Nat said with a nod, "I'm sure we can find some way to work together until your leader returns."
"Right then" Jason then steps in asks the Vice Leader "Whats your situation now? do you think you have the best odds in beating the King?"
"We're doing our best," the vice-leader replied, her expression grim. "But honestly, we don't stand a chance alone. The King has the entire kingdom at his disposal; mercenaries, beast tamers, mages... Even with the help of outsiders like yourselves, it will be difficult to overthrow him." She hesitated before continuing, "But if we can find allies among other races and classes, perhaps then we might have a chance."
Then a messenger arrives and tells the resistance that the Resistance Leader is captured, this alarms the Resistance. But to Nat, an opportunity sets in "Let us rescue her"
Jason's eyes widened at the news, but he nodded resolutely. "We will help you rescue her," he said firmly. "The fight against the King isn't just about winning; it's about what we stand for. Together, we can make a difference."
Aeris glanced over at Nat, hope and determination shining in her eyes. It was clear she believed in his words as well. But the question remained: how would they manage such a daring rescue mission?
"Look you dont have to be skeptical of us, we've come from beyond the Stone Gate from another world"
The vice-leader raised an eyebrow at this revelation. "So you're saying you've come from... another world?" she repeated, her tone skeptical but intrigued. "Prove it."
Nat glanced over at Fei, who nodded encouragingly. With a deep breath, Nat summoned his elemental magic before them, conjuring up a miniature tornado of leaves and dirt swirling around their feet.
"Also here, do you have this?" Nat lets out his phone "Grace call me"
The resistance leader's eyes widened in surprise as she saw the display of magic and technology. "Very well," she said slowly, her expression now one of belief. "We will help you rescue our leader." She turned to address the group gathered around them. "Everyone, listen up! We have allies from another world who can use magic and wield technology beyond anything we've seen before. They are willing to aid us in rescuing the Resistance Leader!"
"We'll take care of rescuing your leader, just stay here. The King and his forces will perceive us as a new threat and not part of the Resistance" Nat suggests the Resistance Vice Leader
The vice-leader nodded in agreement, her expression grateful. "Thank you," she said sincerely. "We'll hold down the fort here while you go on your mission." She paused before continuing, "But remember, the success of this operation rests solely on your shoulders. You must bring our leader back safely."
Nat and his team exchanged glances, knowing that their newfound allies were depending on them. They had a tough task ahead, but they wouldn't let the resistance down.
Nat then glances at the Messenger "You, take us to where the Resistance Leader is and we'll set off Now"
The messenger nodded, falling in line beside them as they made their way deeper into the forest toward where the Resistance Leader was being held captive. Along the way, they encountered several resistance fighters who offered their aid and support, eager to join forces with this newfound ally from another world.
As they approached their destination, Nat and his team prepared themselves for whatever challenges lay ahead, drawing on their strengths and abilities as they plotted their daring rescue mission.
"Hmm it seems a bit....well defended" Jason says "Yeah no shit, its a fucking stronghold" Nat says out of the blue, leaving the others to laugh "Right then" Nat then stretches out "Soo many options to choose where do we start?" Nat looks around the spacious stronghold "Might as well start where the resistance leader is taken custody"
Todd nodded in agreement, his eyes scanning the area. "I think that's our best bet too," he said slowly. "We should split up and scope out different areas of the stronghold while we wait for a chance to strike."
Aeris glanced at Nat, curiosity clear in her eyes. "What kind of options do you mean?" she asked quietly, gesturing for them to move closer together so they could speak more privately.
Nat smiled enigmatically. "Oh, you know... different ways we can approach this,"
"Either we go head first, or the stealth approach. Heck even Xueyi can solo this stronghold with a breeze"
Jason glanced at Aeris, who looked thoughtful. "I think we should go with the stealth approach," she said finally. "If we can rescue her without alerting them too much, we'll have a better chance of keeping her safe on our way back." She paused before continuing, "And if it comes down to it, Fei and I can handle ourselves in combat."
Todd nodded in agreement. "I think that sounds like the best plan," he said, looking at Nat for confirmation.
"Alright, might as well. Aeris and Fei youre with me, Grace stay here and shoot out any of those who see us, Jason and Todd dont make too much and noise" Nat then glances at Xueyi "Xueyi, no pressure since stealth is your bread and butter"
Xueyi let out an amused chuckle at the compliment. "Don't worry, I was born for this sort of thing," she said with a wink before disappearing into the shadows, heading towards their objective. As they crept through the stronghold, Nat and his team relied on Fei and Aeris to guide them through the maze-like structure while Todd and Jason kept watch for any signs of trouble.
And the messenger is amazed by Nat's performance, Xueyi silently killing guards and Jason and Todd hiding the bodies. Fei and Aeris support Nat, and Grace looks out and shoots down those who see their presence
With every guard silently taken care of, the group made their way deeper into the stronghold. The vice-leader's chamber was heavily guarded with magical wards and traps, but Fei's magic and Aeris' agility allowed them to bypass them without much trouble. As they neared their target, the tension in the air grew thick as a knife, each member of the team focusing on their tasks with unwavering determination.
As Nat and his team was about to take and enter the Leaders tent, the Leader's body bursts out....leaving Nat's team in shock. Nat then turns to see a woman with confidence standing before them, but is in an harem outfit "Uhhh, are you the Resistance Leader?" *Nat asks the Woman in Harem clothing?"
The woman smiled at their confusion and surprise. "Yes, I am the Resistance Leader," she said calmly, folding her arms across her chest. "But you'll have to excuse my appearance; it seems the goon took great pleasure in humiliating me before killing me." Her voice was cold and bitter as she spoke of her captor.
"So what now?" asked Jason cautiously, his eyes darting between the woman and Nat's team.
The Resistance Leader raised an eyebrow at him. "
"Look believe or not, we're here to rescue you" Nat says to the Resistance Leader "Whether you like it or not, we're youre only chance of letting you out unscathed"
The Resistance Leader studied each member of the group before she finally nodded slowly. "Very well," she said at last, her expression grim. "I'll come with you, but I want to make one thing clear: once we're out of here, you are all my responsibility. You will follow my orders without question."
There was a moment of silence before Jason cleared his throat and said, "Understood." The others nodded in agreement, though there were some looks of uncertainty exchanged amongst them.
Although the others nod in agreement, Nat for now lets it slide since he wanted to test the waters on how capable the Resistance Leader is
The Resistance Leader seemed to sense their uncertainty, but said nothing more about it as they made their way back out of the stronghold. The journey back to the resistance camp was tense and fraught with danger, as they had to fight their way through several ambushes set up by the king's forces.
But eventually, they managed to reach safety once again. The Resistance Leader immediately called a meeting of her most trusted lieutenants, where she formally introduced Nat and his team as allies in their struggle against the king.
As they gathered around, the Resistance Leader addressed them with newfound authority and confidence. "We have allies now," she said, nodding toward Nat's group, "but we must use this opportunity wisely. Our next move will be crucial in determining the outcome of this war." The room fell silent as each person there considered her words carefully, their expressions grave.
Nat exchanged glances with Jason and Todd, wondering what the Resistance Leader's plan was and how they might be able to contribute.
As the meeting ends, the resistance Leader glances at Nat and tells her to meet him, privately
"So," Nat said casually, trying to put her at ease, "what's on your mind?"
The Resistance Leader looked at him seriously. "I want to know more about you and your team," she said bluntly. "What are your strengths? Your weaknesses?
"Straight to the point, okay...but I also wanna ask what's your name since you don't tell your closest lieutenants or even your Vice Leader"
The Resistance Leader raised an eyebrow, surprised by the question. "You're right," she said with a nod. "I apologize for that. My name is Katt." She hesitated before continuing, "Now, about your team... what can you tell me?"
"First off, you have me Natdan the leader of the squad. In my world, we run an organization called the Hunter's Guild and I ranked as one of the best. An S-rank Druid, S-rank means the top of the top" Nat starts off with him
Katt listened intently as Nat introduced himself and his team's background. An S-rank Druid... that was impressive, indeed. "I see," she murmured, nodding thoughtfully. "And what about the others?"
"Well," Nat began, gesturing for Jason to speak up, "Jason here is an A-rank Knight and a scholar. He's our Shield." The resistance leader looked impressed at this as well. "Todd here is an A-rank Fighter and he's in charge of the frontline,"
Nat then points at Grace and Xueyi "Grace is an A-rank Hunter so a bow and arrow, and Xueyi an A-rank rogue" Then Nat points at Fei and Aeris "Aeris is an S-class Ice Mage but is still a rookie in my books. As for Fei, she's new the Fox-Girl was once the weapon of the King and now no longer under his control. She's with us"
Katt considered their abilities carefully, her brow furrowing as she tried to picture how they might fit into the resistance's plans. "Hm," she mused aloud, tapping her chin thoughtfully. "Your team is quite impressive, Nat. I must admit, I was expecting something... less."
Nat raised an eyebrow at this remark, wondering what exactly Katt meant by that. But before he could ask, she continued, "
"I'll say this," Katt went on, her expression growing more serious, "your team has great potential to be an asset to the resistance. But I can't help but wonder if you all are truly committed to our cause." Her gaze locked onto Nat, challenging him to answer honestly.
Nat felt a pang of guilt at her words, but he forced himself to meet Katt's gaze steadily. "We are," he said simply, his voice firm. "
"What makes you think we aren't that committed?" Nat asks Katt
Katt smiled slightly, her expression still serious but no longer challenging. "It's not that I doubt your loyalty," she said gently, "but you all come from another world where your own problems must be many. It's natural to wonder if the struggles of our people are as important to you as those back home."
Nat considered this for a moment before responding. "I understand what you mean," he admitted. "But we made a choice to come here, and we stand by it.
"At the same time" Nat moves closer to Katt "We're not the only Hunters you can count on"
"I see," Katt said, nodding slowly. "And if we were to ask you to bring more Hunters back with you... would that be possible?" Her eyes gleamed with hope and determination as she posed the question.
Nat hesitated for a moment before answering. "It's not impossible," he replied cautiously, "but it wouldn't be easy. The Hunters Guild has its own duties and responsibilities to uphold in our world." He paused, considering her words carefully before continuing, "
"We're the only ones that have somewhat have been called, since well we have grudge with your King.....since he attacked our world"
Katt nodded slowly, her expression thoughtful. "I see," she murmured. "Well, if it means helping us overthrow the tyrant who threatens our lands... perhaps we can find a way to make it work." She fixed him with a steady gaze. "What do you say, Nat? Will you help us?"
There was silence for a long moment as Nat considered her words carefully. Eventually, he met her eyes and said simply, "Yes. We'll help you."
"Now I'll be more blunt on this Katt, regardless of having us here you still have no chances of taking out the King. And even the living conditions, staying in a cave is already a hazard by itself"
Katt raised an eyebrow at this assessment, but she didn't argue the point. "I understand that our current situation is far from ideal," she acknowledged, "but we must do what we can with what little resources we have." She paused for a moment before continuing, "However, if you believe that there is another way... another path to victory, I am willing to listen and consider your advice."
Nat studied the resistance leader carefully before nodding slowly. "There is," he said at last, his voice resolute. "
"We could let you station by the border, near the stone gate. That way you can also get resources from our world"
Katt's eyes widened in surprise as she considered this proposal. "That... that could work," she said slowly, her expression thoughtful. "It would certainly give us a leg up in terms of resources and technology." She hesitated for a moment before asking, "And what would you gain from such an arrangement?"
There was silence between them as Nat considered his answer carefully. Eventually, he replied, "We want peace with your world," he said simply. "
"Plus we hope our influence would also encourage you to know our culture"
Katt studied him carefully, her expression guarded but hopeful. "I see," she said at last. "That... that could be arranged." She paused again before continuing, "But we must discuss this with the rest of my council first, to make sure that everyone is in agreement." Her eyes met his steadily as she asked, "What do you say? Are you willing to trust us?"
"That I dont mind, but here somewhat of a peace offering. Nat then takes out love novel for Katt to read "I heard youre fond of novels, well might as well indulge in that then. Read it in your spare time"
Katt raised an eyebrow at the sudden offer, but her expression softened as she took the book gently from his hands. "Thank you," she said sincerely. "I'll make sure to read this with care." She paused for a moment before continuing, "In the meantime, I will discuss your proposal with my council and get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you again for your trust and support."
*Nat then nods and leaves, soon as he leaves Katt then looks at the Novel and decides to read a bit, only to be immersed by it"
As Katt began to read the love novel that Nat had given her, she found herself quickly engrossed in its pages. The story was unlike anything she'd ever encountered before; it painted a vivid picture of a world filled with passion and emotion, where love conquers all obstacles. It was both fascinating and enchanting to her, and she couldn't help but lose track of time as she devoured the words on each page.
But her immersion was interrupted with her Vice Leader knocking on the door
Katt looked up guiltily as her vice-leader knocked on the door, interrupting her reading. "Come in," she called out, trying to smooth the rumpled pages of the novel back into place before the other woman could see them.
The vice-leader entered and bowed respectfully. "My apologies for disturbing you, Leader," she said, "but we've received word that our scouts have spotted enemy movement nearby."
Katt's face hardened at the news, her thoughts immediately returning to the matter at hand. "Thank you for informing me," she said calmly. "I'll need to convene a meeting with my council right away." She paused for a moment before adding, "In the meantime, please gather everyone and prepare for battle."
Her vice-leader bowed again and hurried off to carry out her orders. Katt took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing thoughts as she considered Nat's proposal once more.
As Katt waited for her council to arrive, she couldn't help but think about Nat and his team. They were indeed an interesting addition to their cause; their knowledge of technology and culture could prove invaluable in the long run. But at the same time, she knew that trusting them completely would be a risk. She needed to tread carefully and make sure that everyone was on board with this new alliance before it became a liability.
Katt then stands again with her Liutenants and as well Nat's team
"Alright, everyone," Katt said, addressing her council and Nat's team alike. "We have some important decisions to make regarding our strategy against the king's forces." She took a deep breath before continuing, "As you all know, we've received an offer of aid from another world through Nat and his team."
Her vice-leader nodded in agreement. "They claim that their world has technology far beyond anything we can imagine," she said, her expression guarded. "
"She's not wrong, but we dont mean in a bad way and not to overwhelm you. Its more or less and offer so that you may have an edge when it comes to dealing with the King" Nat adds
The resistance leader frowned slightly at this, her expression uncertain. "That's an... intriguing proposal," she said slowly. "However, we must consider the risks involved in accepting aid from another world." She looked around the group, meeting each person's gaze in turn as they waited for her to continue.
"What do you think?" she asked finally, addressing Nat and his team directly. "Do you have any suggestions on how we should proceed?"
"Well given the stakes at hand, knowing that there is still a distrust between me and your resistance Katt. We might as well show what we are made of, give us a task and we'll do it 100 percent"
Katt considered this for a moment before nodding slowly. "Very well, then," she said at last. "I propose we put your skills to the test with a trial run of sorts." She paused, looking around the group once more before continuing, "There is an enemy camp not far from here that has been giving us trouble lately. We've already scouted it out and believe it would be an ideal location for our first joint operation."
Her vice-leader nodded in agreement, her expression grim but determined. "
"Got it, we're going now" The resistance with Nat's course of action "Oh and take this, so that you can watch the show" Nat then tosses a communication orb "That will project our actions from a distance, we use that for surveillance"
Nat's expression darkened as he listened to Katt's proposal. He knew that this trial run would be no easy task, but it was a necessary risk if they wanted to prove themselves worthy of their alliance. Glancing at his team members, he could see the determination in their eyes as well. They were all ready to take on whatever challenges lay ahead.
As Katt finished speaking, Nat reached into his pocket and pulled out a small communication orb. "Here," he said, handing it over to her. "
With that Nat and his team venture out, as they do...the communication orb watches their movements. The resistance were amazed with this sort of technology
As they set out, Katt and her council watched on in awe as the communication orb projected their every move onto a screen before them. The technology was unlike anything they had ever seen, and it left them feeling both amazed and grateful for this new alliance. They could only hope that Nat and his team would succeed in their mission against the enemy camp.
The journey to the camp went smoothly at first;
As Nat and his team arrive at the Camp, they look at it at an uphill. Grace, Xueyi, Jason and Todd, Fei and Aeris look at Nat with confidence "Right then" Nat then stretches himself "Shall we? the stealth approach? or in their face approach?"
With a nod, Nat and his team began to make their way up the hill toward the camp, carefully avoiding detection as they crept through the underbrush. The stealth approach was always preferred when possible, allowing them to take out enemies silently and without alerting others in the vicinity. As they neared their destination, Nat signaled for his team to split up; he , Fei and Aeris would cover one side of the camp while Grace, Xueyi, Jason, and Todd would handle the other.
Grace, Xueyi, Jason and Todd nodded in understanding as they split up to cover the other side of the camp. Fei and Aeris followed suit, disappearing into the shadows with silent grace. With everyone in position, it was now a matter of waiting for the right moment to strike.
The resistance watch in awe, including the Resistance Leader Katt seeing the synergy Nat has with his team. Despite not even talking, Grace shoots down the guards, where Todd and Jason hide the bodies, Xueyi, Fei and Aeris as well take down other guards, and Nat and Aeris immobilize so that the others deal the killing blow Eventually the enemy's camp's numbers are dwindling
Katt and her council watched in amazement as Nat and his team carried out their assault on the enemy camp with seeming ease. The coordination between them was nothing short of impressive, and it left no doubt in Katt's mind that they would be valuable allies indeed. As the numbers of the enemy dwindled, she couldn't help but feel a surge of hope for the first time in what seemed like ages.
"They are truly skilled," Katt murmured to her vice-leader, barely able to contain her excitement. "
Katt's vice-leader nodded in agreement, her expression equally awestruck. "They are indeed," she said, watching as the last few stragglers of the enemy camp were dealt with by Nat and his team. "It appears that our decision to accept their aid was a wise one."
As the battle came to an end and the smoke began to clear, Katt turned back to her council, a determined glint in her eye. "Let this be a lesson to all those who doubted us," she said firmly. "
Meanwhile back at the enemy camp, Nat then looks at his team "Right then, lets get any vital info for Katt and her resistance for their aid.....like this" Nat then gets a folder to reveal an ancient weapon from the Royal Family, but one this does catch Nat's eye. It appears that the family's appearance is...similar to Katt
As they searched through the camp, Nat couldn't help but notice something that caught his eye: a portrait of the royal family. The resemblance between them and Katt was uncanny, almost as if they shared a common ancestor. He decided to keep this piece of information to himself for now, unsure how she would react to the news.
Finding what he believed to be important information, Nat quickly returned to the meeting with Katt and her council, ready to present his findings.
