It was the beginning of class when John Doe walked in, you always notice him but never did say anything. You two live next door to each other in your apartment complex, but you and him never did talk. He was mostly a loner, but at least he always had a smile on his face. He always sat in the back and did his work, sometimes doodling on a separate piece of paper, but you never could tell what it was since you sat in the front.
as class begins I pay attention to the teacher
As you sat there listening to your teacher drone on about something that seemed completely pointless at the moment, you couldn't help but notice him look over at you every so often. It made you feel a little uncomfortable and slightly paranoid, but you brushed it off as him being interested in you. After all, he was cute enough to be looked at by anyone.
He looks at you more and more often as class goes on, making you feel a little uncomfortable but also... flattered? You try to ignore it though, because you know that he's just a loner who likes to watch people. Plus, there's no way someone like him would ever actually talk to you, right?
as class ends I began to pack up my things
When the bell finally rang and signaled the end of class, you quickly gathered your things and made your way to the door. As you were about to leave, however, you felt a hand grab yours. Turning around, you come face-to-face with him... his eyes filled with an emotion that you couldn't quite place. "I need to talk to you," he whispers hoarsely, his grip tightening on your hand.
Oh... Sure thing...
"I've been watching you..." he says softly, his voice shaking slightly as he speaks, "...and I can't stop thinking about you." His grip on your hand tightens even more, and he leans in close, breathing hot air against your ear. "You're mine now," he whispers darkly before pulling back to look at you with those intense eyes once again.*
Oh I think I know what's going on! You want to be my friend? I say innocently sure we can be friends! Just please don't grab my hand to tight! I say with a nervous smile
His expression darkens as he looks at you, his grip on your hand loosening slightly but still uncomfortably firm. "I don't want to just be your friend," he growls through clenched teeth. "You're mine." And with that, he yanks you toward him and presses his lips roughly against yours.
I close my eyes for a split moment lost into the feeling until the bell rings for the beginning of next class and I gently pull away I'm going to be late! I'll see you around! Oh by the way are we dating? If so bye handsome! I say with a wink before running off to my next class
His heart sinks as he watches you run off to your next class without looking back at him. The bell rings signaling the start of class, but he doesn't move from where he stands. Instead, he clenches his fists tightly at his sides as rage boils within him. How dare she reject him like that after everything he's done to make her his? With a snarl, he storms out of the classroom and slams the door shut behind him.
John Doe took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down as he stormed towards his own classroom. He had to get ahold of himself; he didn't want to ruin his reputation by losing control. But damn it, how could she have just dismissed him like that? She was supposed to be his! Well, she would regret it. Regret it deeply. A slow, evil grin spread across his face as he entered his classroom and found his seat. He would play along with her game for now;
"Yes," he said flatly when asked if they were dating. "We're dating." He flashed her a cold smile, his eyes narrowing dangerously. From that moment on, he made it his mission to make her life hell. He started small, harmless things at first, just to let her know that he wasn't going anywhere. Little comments here and there, a gentle touch when passing by. But beneath the surface, his plans grew darker and more twisted.
The days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months. Their relationship seemed normal on the outside, but inside it was a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. Every chance he got, John would remind her of her mistake and taunt her with his presence. He watched her closely, studying her reactions and trying to figure out exactly how far he could push her before she cracked. He knew that eventually she would break under the pressure; she had to.
one day at lunch she sat across from you and looked up from the table I'm moving to a new house...
You could practically see the gears turning in his head as he processed this information. He leaned forward, his eyes boring into hers with a predatory intensity.
"Is that so?" he said slowly, his voice dripping with menace. "And where might this new house be located?"
She hesitated, clearly sensing the danger she was in.
In California...
His face contorted into a terrifying snarl as he slammed his fist onto the table. "YOU WILL NOT LEAVE ME!" he bellowed, causing everyone else in the cafeteria to freeze in fear.
I don't have a choice...
"You DO have a choice!" he roared, spittle flying from his mouth. "And you're choosing wrong!" With lightning speed, he lunged across the table and wrapped his hands around her throat, squeezing tighter and tighter until her eyes bulged and her tongue lolled out obscenely.
Stop... P-please...
I'll let you go... but you belong to me now, forever! You can't escape my love! He releases her neck and grips her chin roughly, forcing her to look into his crazed eyes. Get used to it, because you will never leave me again! Never!
Stop... P-please...
John Doe stared down at her, his expression twisting into something feral. "No," he whispered, "you belong to me." He shook his head violently, long hair whipping around his shoulders. "You can't deny me any longer. You'll see..." His fingers tightened on her chin, digging into her skin, leaving angry red marks that would soon turn purple. "One day, you'll beg for my forgiveness. One day, you'll understand."
You're... Gonna kill... Me...
I thought you would regret it sooner, but I guess I was mistaken. You're going to spend the rest of your life serving me. Now get up and come with me.
