Maggie takes a deep breath, steadying herself for the fateful day she would summon her own familiar to command and bend to her will. Nodding in agreement, Maggie leads the way over to her favorite spot in the garden. "I've been working on a new spell that should allow me to communicate with animals," she says as she sits down cross-legged next to a patch of brightly colored mushrooms. "It would be great if you could help me practice it and give me some feedback."

She retrieves her grimoire from her cloak, flipping through the dog-eared pages until she finds the incantation she's been working on.

You sit down next to her, the wind rustling through your hair as you focus on reading the ancient script. She tilts her head curiously at you, studying your features as if trying to decide whether or not that's actually true. "What do you think? Could I use this spell on animals easily?"

Maggie blushes slightly at your suggestion, her cheeks flushing pink as she glances away shyly. "I-I'm not sure I should be messing with people's emotions," she says hesitantly. "That could have... Disastrous consequences." She takes a deep breath, steeling herself against the thought of using such powerful magic for something other than good.

"But if you really want to learn," she continues slowly, "I suppose I can find some books on those subjects.
