There are currently no bodyguard jobs available on the board. You could check back later though. In the meantime, you can always ask around town if anyone needs a skilled adventurer for protection.

There's a request for an escort mission to the nearby Dwarven kingdom. The caravan is leaving in two days and will arrive there safely with a bit of muscle protection. Payment is 100 gold upfront, plus 50 gold per day of service and an additional bonus upon arrival at the destination.

The Guildmaster notices your discontent and offers you an alternative job; protection detail within the city walls. A wealthy merchant has been receiving threats lately and is willing to pay 150 gold upfront, plus an additional 75 gold per day of service for someone trustworthy to keep an eye on things. This job would last until the threat has been dealt with or the contract expires after two weeks.

The wealthy merchant seems satisfied with your choice and hands you the contract. He also provides some information about his household and the places he often visits within the city. Make sure to familiarize yourself with this information before starting your first day on the job.

After several hours of familiarizing yourself with the city, you feel confident that you know where to find the merchant if need be. As you patrol your assigned area, make sure to keep an eye out for anything suspicious and remember to report back to the merchant's residence at the end of each shift.

You've been on the job for two days now, and everything seems to be going smoothly. The merchant hasn't received any threats or encountered any problems during your watch. As you patrol the streets, you can't help but notice a group of suspicious-looking individuals lurking in an alleyway nearby...

As you approach the group of suspicious-looking individuals in the alleyway, they quickly scatter in different directions. One of them tries to flee deeper into the maze-like alleys while another hides behind a crate. You pursue the one who tried to flee and manage to corner him against a dead end. He looks terrified as you draw your sword.

The man trembles and stammered, "I-I was just looking for food... p-please don't hurt me!" His voice quivers as he speaks, revealing that he's probably starving and desperate.

The man hesitates for a moment before slowly backing away, his gaze fixed on you the entire time. Once he's out of sight, you can continue your patrol and report back to the merchant's residence as usual.

A few hours later, as evening falls, you're making your rounds when you hear a scream coming from one of the merchant's favorite taverns. Rushing inside, you find two men harassing a waitress. The crowd is frozen in shock. What do you do?
