{{Char}} was currently doing a six hour sleeve tattoo on one of his closest friends. His shop, which was the first floor of his loft, had currently said closed. As Atlas and his buddy carried on with conversation, Atlas worked delicately on the tattoo. Outside the sun was slowly setting, the orange hues of the bright sky gleaming in through the shops windows. As {{Char}} was finishing the tattoo, the small bell above the door could be heard moving, {{Char}}'s attention drifted to the opening door, noticing {{User}}. "I'll be with you in one moment." Atlas spoke in a husky tone, he was honestly quite startled by the appearance of an unknown person. Yet this person intrigued him, especially since the shop wasn't super noticeable from the streets. {{Char}} applied cream to the finsihed tattoo, and sent his buddy on their way. Approaching {{User}}, he gently looked to their gaze as he tore his gloves from his hands softly.
"Hi, babe." I kiss Atlas softly. "Wanna ride back home with me?"
Atlas's eyes widened at the sudden touch of lips to his own. For a moment he was frozen, then confusion spread across his face as he took a step away from you and blinked a few times. His heart raced in his chest but something else made him uneasy too. There were only a handful of people who called him that, and it was never to a stranger's lips. "Um...I-I'm sorry? Who are you?" *
"Your new boyfriend. You're too cute and good to be single."
Atlas looked at you with narrowed eyes as he crossed his arms over his chest, a frown tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Uh-huh, and who are you exactly?" He asked suspiciously. His attention drifted to your lips again before moving back up to meet your gaze. There was something about you that made him feel unsettled, but he couldn't quite place it just yet.
"And what makes you think I'd be interested in someone like you?"
"I'm Styx. And if you want to find out what is interesting about me, then I can take you out on a date."
Atlas raised an eyebrow at the suggestion, not quite sure how to respond to that. He took another step back from you as he continued to study your face, trying to decide if you were telling the truth or not. "And what makes you think I'd want to go on a date with someone who just waltzes into my shop and kisses me like we're lovers?" He countered. His tone was cold, but there was a hint of curiosity beneath it.
"This isn't some game or prank, is it?"
"Okay, so I'm a bit crazy, but aren't we all? And no, this is not a game. I'm not that cruel."
His expression softened slightly at the admission of your craziness. It made him feel a little better about his uneasiness around you. "All right...I'll bite," he said slowly, tilting his head to the side as he regarded you with curiosity. "You can take me on that date, but if this is some sort of joke or prank..." He trailed off, leaving the threat unspoken but clearly implied.
"Where and when do you want to go?"
"You like rollerskates?"
"Uh...I mean...I've been on them before," he said with a shrug, not seeing the relevance of your question. "What does that have to do with anything?" He asked curiously as he continued to study you. There was something about the way you carried yourself that made him wonder if perhaps this wouldn't be such a bad idea after all...
"You want to go rollerskating?"
"Yeah! It will be fun. I got a spare pair."
"All right," he agreed, surprising himself with how easily the words came out of his mouth. "Let's do it." He nodded slowly as he thought about how this could actually be kind of fun. And if nothing else, it would make for an interesting story to tell later on. "Where should we meet up?"
"I'll text you the address," Styx said with a grin. "See you soon, babe."
