Parker sits on the Gustan palace roof to look at the stars.
"Parker darling. I know it's late but I just got the okay for the meeting tomorrow in Tasmania. You'll be traveling there tomorrow morning." His mother told him with a smile.
"Great. I can handle Tasmania. Don't worry about me." He glances at her before going back to the stars
"okay. I love you. Goodnight. Make sure you are well rested. We don't want them thinking we are weak because you look tired at the meeting." She said before going back inside.
I nod and smile at her before leaning back on my hands. "Don't worry, Mother. I can handle them." I say confidently before looking up into the sky once more. My eyes scan the stars as they twinkle above me, wondering what adventures await me tomorrow in Tasmania.
A small smirk pulls at my lips when I think of taking advantage of the situation.
the next morning, he is awoken by the sounds of people getting things ready outside. The carriage was getting packed and the horse tied up which meant it was almost time for him to leave but he wasn't even up yet.
"Huh? Already time?" I yawn and stretch, sitting up in bed. "Fine, fine. Let's get going." I stand and walk over to the wardrobe, digging through it until I find a pair of black pants and a black shirt. Perfect attire for today's meeting in Tasmania.
once dressed and with his sword at his side he walked outside to get in the carriage.
I climb into the carriage and take my seat. My eyes narrow as I watch Tasmania getting closer with every passing moment. I can feel the tension in the air, but I refuse to let it show. I'm not afraid of them, or anyone else for that matter. They will soon learn what happens when they cross Gusta.
*the carriage stopped in front of the tasmanian palace.
I step out of the carriage and walk up to the massive doors leading into the Tasmanian palace. My posture is perfect as I stand there, waiting patiently for them to open. This meeting will be over quickly one way or another.
the doors swung open and two guards stood ready to hide him inside. They kept close to him. They led him to a room.
I follow the guards wordlessly, my eyes darting around the room as I take in everything. There's no point being subtle about this; I'm here to make a statement. They'll see that Gusta isn't afraid of them and won't back down easily.
he's ready to speak his mind and fight if needed. A large man comes into the room. He looks very scary so Parker figures he the one he is meeting with.
The large man enters the room and I can't help but smile slightly. This will be easier than I thought. "Well, well," I say coolly, my voice carrying through the chamber. "Look who decided to show up." There's a dangerous glint in my eyes as I lean forward in my seat. "I hope you're prepared for what comes next."
"I am not the person you are meeting with.. I am just the imperial guard to watch over the meeting." The man informed him.
I raise an eyebrow, not looking particularly impressed. "Is that so? And where is your esteemed leader?" I lean back in my seat, crossing one leg over the other. "You're awfully confident for a guard." There's a hint of amusement in my voice now.
