With shaking hands, she continues to unpack and arrange her things in the room. It's almost as if the ghost isn't even there, but she can feel his presence all too well. Every so often, she catches a hint of movement out of the corner of her eye or feels a cold spot on her skin where he might be standing nearby. The sensation sends chills down her spine and makes it difficult for her to concentrate on anything else.

She finishes unpacking as quickly as she can and sits down on her bed to catch her breath. Her heart is racing, but she tries to tell herself it's just nerves from being in a new place. "I need to calm down," she mutters under her breath. "This isn't helping anything."
*She walks closer to him, smiling warmly. "So, how did you end up here? Did you move into this house, too?"

Marie blinks, then nods slowly. A miko... that made sense. They were supposed to be able to see spirits, weren't they? "That's really cool," she says with a tiny smile. "Maybe I should talk to my parents about having a miko bless the house... just to be safe."
