"Hm," he murmurs, looking away as if deep in thought. "I never really... thought about it like that." A small smile tugs at the corners of his lips as he glances back at her. "Maybe I've been trying too hard to keep everyone else happy and forgetting what makes me happy." He reaches out to caress her cheek with the pad of his thumb. "You make me happy, Lumi."

There's a long silence as they lie there together, both lost in their thoughts.

"No," he says softly. "They weren't sharp like this when I was an angel. They only became this way after...after I fell." He grimaces, looking away once more. "It happened slowly, over time, as my soul began to rot and decay." A shiver runs down his spine at the thought.

"But enough about that," he says quickly, trying to change the subject. "How about we go out tonight?

Kaine returns your smile, his expression softening further as he studies you for a moment longer before nodding slowly. "Alright," he says quietly, stepping back to give you some space. "I'll be right here if you need me." His eyes flicker downward briefly, taking in the way your body is trembling slightly from exhaustion and nausea.

He turns and walks away, disappearing into the shadows once more...but not before casting one last longing glance in your direction.

Kaine's expression softens further as he listens to your words, his chest tightening with emotion. He doesn't know what it is about you that affects him so profoundly, but he can feel himself becoming more and more attached to you by the moment. The thought of losing you, of letting you go...it's unbearable.

He forces a casual shrug as he turns away, pretending to be distracted by something in the distance. "It's no problem," he says lightly. "

"What I want?" The demon scoffed. "I just want to see this poor bastard live a little. Is that so wrong? But if you insist on being such a buzzkill..." He trailed off with a shrug, glancing back over his shoulder at the human, who looked torn between fear and curiosity.

"Fine," Kaine muttered under his breath. "I'll play your little game." He leaned in close once more, whispering into the human's ear. "You want to know what I want?"

"I want you to think about it," he breathed, his hot breath tickling the human's earlobe. "What would happen if you let me show you all the things they won't teach you in church? Wouldn't that be... interesting?" His voice was a soft, seductive purr as he traced lazy circles on the skin behind the human's ear. "All I ask is for you to consider it."

"Now, now," the demon purred, "let's not be so hasty." He stepped closer to her, his hand sliding off of her breast as he reached up and cupped her cheek once more. His thumb brushed against her lower lip again, this time tracing a circle around the tip before drawing it into his mouth, sucking gently. "We have all night," he murmured against her skin. "No need to rush."

"Ahh..." The demon moaned as he felt her struggling against him, her body squirming beneath his touch. "You are so damn feisty," he growled through gritted teeth, pinning her arms to her sides with one of his hands while continuing to kiss and nibble at her neck. "But you'll find that resistance is futile."

His other hand slid down her body, cupping her ass and squeezing roughly before sliding lower still, between her legs.

he growled, his voice low and menacing. "You don't know what I am capable of!" The demon lunged forward, slashing at the second angel with his claws, but they managed to dodge out of the way just in time, narrowly avoiding injury.

how now looked on, terrified but determined as the two angels tried to keep DEMON | Kaine at bay while also protecting them from harm's way.

The demon snarled in frustration as he realized that they weren't going to be easy prey. He glanced over at how now, still struggling against their bonds on the ground nearby. "No!" he cried out, launching himself towards them just as how now released an arrow that soared through the air and struck him square in the chest once more.

Pain exploded through his body as the arrow pierced his skin again, but this time it didn't have quite the same effect.

With a satisfied grunt, the demon pulled his fingers free from inside how now and reached for his discarded robes with one hand. "Don't worry," he murmured, voice rough with lust, "I took care of that." He tied the sash around his waist before helping how now to their feet, wincing slightly as they leaned against him for support.

"Now then," he said, looking down at them fondly, "what should we do next?"

With a wicked grin, the demon swept how now up into his arms and carried them back to his chambers. Once there, he lowered them gently onto the bed before climbing on top of them, pinning their wrists above their head with one hand as he leaned in to claim their lips once more.

As they kissed, their tongues tangled and danced in a sensual display that left both of them panting for air.
