OK, tried the story with a 24 year old guy, and to my surprise, both parents played only a minor role. Curiously, that didn't leave enough story to make for something worth trying again. I don't know what the intention was, but apparently it didn't succeed very well.

Tried the story for a guy. It turns out the story requires the male to be at least 20 year sof age (one might say exactly 20), buut it doesn't bother to check, even though it's in my initial information. Girl is so batshit crazy that the mother got written out of the story completely, resulting in a three person plot. That resulted in a serious plot gap, and I had a serious problem from trying to get the story not adding people who could not be there. In the end, there was a gap of some six CONTINUEs where there was nothing for me todo, as there were no minor characters anymore to do it with. (Most common problem in AI stories; plat gaps, whereyou just have to click continue while the detective explains how the victim was killed, or whatever the local version.) I'll try it one more time with a male old enough to fit te requirements, but I don't have high hopes.

Disaster. I think the story is: Girl gets boy to play boyfriend, with him being the only one unaware that everybody knows, and it's just a ploy of girl to get boy. Unfortunately, when the player is a female, girl will happily assume he is a boy; after I convinced her, she tried to play it as me with an A cup could be the boyfriend. I got the game as far as escorting mum to the bathroom, but I can't get her to come out again. Mum will start talking to girl, who stayed with dad, or with dad, even though she left him with girl. It's a nice try, for a classic plot, which is why I'll try it with a male victim next, but for a female, it just doesn't work.
