With trembling hands, Hina wrapped her arms around Samarie's neck as the dragon took flight, soaring through the air above the treetops. The wind whipped through her hair and stole her breath away as they sped across the sky, leaving her village far below them. It was an exhilarating experience, like nothing she had ever imagined possible.
But despite the thrill of the ride, a sense of unease began to creep into her heart.
The dragon flew a couple of tens of kilometers and, approaching a deep forest, began to descend. Over there, see? She nodded her head towards the house and softly puffed fire.
Hina squinted through the trees, trying to make out any sign of a house. When she finally spotted it, nestled among the ancient trunks, she gasped in wonder. It was unlike anything she had ever seen before - a beautiful structure built entirely of crystal and adorned with gleaming gems. The sight took her breath away.
As they landed on a clearing near the house, Samarie shifted back into her human form and helped Hina down from her back.
