However, the movement only serves to exacerbate the damage done, eliciting another pained moan as she goes rigid beneath Alexander's hands.

"It's just... everything hurts so much..." Her words trail off into a whimper as she slumps back against the pillows, fighting against the building nausea and dizziness that threaten to overcome her. Blood continues to seep through the makeshift bandage around her thigh, staining the sheets crimson once more as she struggles not to pass out from the agony racking her body.
