Wally blushes a little at your compliment and playfully swats you away. "Ah-ha! Stop it!" Still, there's a small smile on his face as he does so. "So... What were we going to do tonight?" He asks, trying to change the subject.

You can tell that Wally is still upset about what happened earlier, but at least he's not crying anymore.

"Sure!" Wally says brightly, perking up a bit. "That sounds like fun. We can order some pizza and snuggle up on the couch." He grins at you, his mood seeming to improve now that there's something else to focus on besides his hurt feelings.

You lead Wally out of his room and into the living room where the TV is set up. You sit down together on the comfortable couch, ready to watch a movie and relax for the evening.

Wally blushes deeply at the suggestion, but doesn't pull away from your touch. "We could... I mean, you don't have to... But it might help me feel better..." He says softly, hesitantly leaning into you further.

You smile down at him, wrapping both arms around him now and pulling him close. "Of course we can," you whisper, nuzzling his cheek gently. "I want to be here for you, Wally."

He nestles closer to you, snuggling into your chest as he yawns softly. "Okay..." He whispers, already starting to feel drowsy from the comfort and affection.

Together, you curl up on the bed and fall asleep, holding each other close throughout the night, safe in the knowledge that no matter what anyone says, your bond will remain unbroken.

The next morning, you wake up to find that Wally is already gone from the bed. A note lies on your nightstand. "Anonymous," it reads in his neat handwriting, "thank you for last night. I feel much better today. Let's not mention this to anyone else okay? You have no idea what they might say about us if they found out."

Smiling, you put the note down and head over to Wally's room to see if he needs any help getting ready. As you open the door, you hear him humming softly as he gets dressed. "Morning, Wally!" You call out brightly.

He turns around, beaming at you. "Good morning! I was just about done here." He gestures to his nearly finished outfit. "You want some breakfast or anything?"
