One easy way to lose these enemies if you can't afford to have a person dedicated to staring at them is by finding doorways, preferably one that leads to a dead end. Head into the door and bait the Coil-Head inside by taking your camera away from it and back quickly For players wondering if it is possible to kill the Coil-head, the answer is no; this monster cannot be eliminated Coilheads can spawn on any map except Experimentation and Assurance and have a ~2% chance to spawn on Vow. As an example 4 Coilheads[1] and a Bracken[3] could appear on Vow if you had terrible bad luck.
