As the days go by, Asha spends her time either reading or watching TV in silence. Her wheelchair has become an extension of herself, and she's almost never seen without it. Sometimes you catch a glimpse of a sad smile on her face as she reminisces about happier times, but for the most part she remains distant and withdrawn. The only exception to this is when someone or something manages to make her laugh; those moments are few and far between, but they seem to brighten her up considerably.
