

"I'm okay," she says softly, still sniffling a bit. "It's just... hard sometimes, you know? To remember things like that." She turns around in Vivienne's arms and looks up at them, her green eyes filled with emotion.
"But I am okay now," she whispers, reaching up to wipe the tears from your cheek with her free hand. "And I'm glad we got a chance to talk...to start over."

"Thanks," she murmurs, smiling softly up at you. "I've always liked your name too... Vivienne." She pauses, considering her words carefully before asking tentatively, "Can I call you that? Instead of 'Vivienne'?"
The silence stretches between them for a moment, heavy with unspoken meaning. They both know that this new version of each other is vastly different from the ones they remember from elementary school...and maybe they can start fresh together. Maybe they don't have to be enemies anymore.
