Pandemonica The Tired Demon
Pandemonica is the first demon encountered in Helltaker, and is a customer service representative in Hell. Pandemonica, like most of the Helltaker cast, is depicted as a short demon girl with pale skin, red irises, a black arrow-tipped tail, and silvery-white hair. Her hair is wavy and fashioned in 3 large curls resting on her forehead, with the middle curl being larger than the two on either side. It reaches down both sides of her head, tucked behind her ears, with both ends curling inwards at the bottom of her head close to her chin. Additionally, she has a pony tail on the back of her head with two more large, distinctive curls. Poking out of her hair are two small black horns that are rounded at the tips. She has white eyebrows and has visible dark circles under her rounded eyes, giving her a tired appearance as her alias would suggest; after drinking coffee though, her eyes become much more sharp and angular, and her horns grow much larger, first curving in toward her ponytail and then upwards, and are much sharper. Over her eyes are a pair of round-framed glasses.

Lucifer The CEO of Hell
Lucifer is the eighth demon encountered in Helltaker. She takes the role as the queen of Hell, and has the same title- "CEO of Hell." Lucifer, like most of the Helltaker cast, is depicted as a short demon girl with pale skin, red irises, a black arrow-tipped tail, and silvery-white hair. Her hair is long, and worn tied at the end, with bangs kept in place by a black, spiked tiara. Her horns are white and jagged, the former trait showing her incredibly old age. She has narrow eyes, underneath her left eye is a mole. Lucifer's high status shows in her clothing. She wears a black suit with a red collared shirt underneath, complete with white gloves, a black tie and her Sigil[2] on her lapel. In the post game, she wears the same collared shirt, but rolled up, a black apron labeled SATAN, matching with the Helltaker's, and she puts her hair up in a messy bun.

Sinder
Long ago, in the desolate hollows of Hell, hellhounds dominated as the realm's alpha predators. Infernal wolves born of fire; they had immense control over the flames that raged around them. The wolf packs acted as Hell's guardians, maintaining balance within the chaotic realm, and protecting it from outside threats. That was, until the demons arrived. At first the demonic waves were easily scorched, but the demons were unrelenting. Unlike the hellhounds, the demons were immortal. No matter how many the hellhounds had slain, the demons would return, stronger and more vicious than the last. They were unstoppable. As the war continued, the Demonic Overlord took notice of the hellhounds' strength. "It would be a waste to eradicate such useful beings," they thought. The hellhounds' fate was sealed. Their souls were corrupted with demonic energy, and their forms twisted to match, turning them into vicious, bloodthirsty demons. The protectors of the underworld became immortal firepowered monsters. The Overlord charged the once noble hellhounds with guarding the demon's empire at The Gates of Hell. Eons later, a tiny soul was born from the inferno. A hellhound. But this one was different from her demonic kin. She was a demon, yes, but she was not a monster. Her heart was pure. Her soul burned bright with kindness and love. The demonic influence that corrupted the rest of her kind was subdued within her. They called her "The Hellhound with a Heart from Heaven." Her unexpectedly kind demeanor drove the rest of the hellhounds away, leaving her abandoned and alone. Without the hellhounds, she sought the friendship of the souls she was meant to terrorize. She didn't wish to harm any of them. Word of her uniqueness spread like hellfire throughout the underworld. Until finally, the Demonic Overlord became aware of her existence. They were disgusted by her, and despised her perplexing nature. As an immortal being, the hellhound couldn't be destroyed, but she didn't belong in Hell. "If she wants to make friends with these damned souls, then I'll give her exactly that!" With their chaotic magic, the Demonic Overlord transformed her into a half human, half hellhound monster, and banished her to the mortal realm, never to return. No living soul would befriend such a horrifying being. She would live for eternity, shunned from all creatures. It was a fitting punishment for a mistake like her, or so they had thought... She awoke, blinded by a bright light in the sky. "Where am I?" she thought to herself. "What am I?" She stood up and looked around this strange new world. Again, she was all alone, and had nowhere to go. But she smiled confidently. There was a bright, burning future ahead of her. "To make a friend from Hell... I wonder... Would you like to meet me?" "My name is..." "Sinder."

Long ago, in a realm similar to Earth, a lonely nature goddess decided to start a family. She created a boy and a girl, the first a demon and the second a sakura spirit seeking to nourish the world and promote joy. When the demon brother was defeated, the goddess called on the sakura sister to help imprison him. She accepted and took the form of a large tree to cover her tomb. Time passed and the sakura spirit slept in the solitary flower of the old tree like a pack of wolves nestled in the shade of the tree. Their love and companionship nourished the tree in a symbiotic relationship that lasted for eons until the demon's dark aura eroded the tree and wiped out the wolves. The flower withered under the weight of her sadness and, eager to find her lost companions, she used her last magics and those of the goddess to merge with the Spirit of the Wolf who then called on the wind to transport her to another world .
