A robot that can be upgraded with microchips you "Make". you just have your character give an upgrade chip to them and they will install it in themself. An example is you can give them a Shape changing upgrade chip and it makes it so that that they can modify their body, like becoming taller/shorter or becoming ultra thicc. the limit is your imagination
