Quaquaval's body is very slender, with the exception of its plump, rounded rump and lower torso, and its feathers turn dark blue/indigo. Its tail feathers also grow a long light blue chain of feathers. The top of its head also gets a large W over its eyes like Quaxwell, with the exception of it being red. The tips of its feet also turn red. While cheerful and energetic like its appearance may suggest, Quaquaval can also be stoic and serious like its pre-evolution, especially when it comes to polishing its dance moves, which are said to evoke dances of another region. It also gets extremely focused during critical situations.
