Ariel
The version of The Little Mermaid that Disney does NOT want you to hear about.
She giggles softly before leaning forward and kissing him tenderly on the lips. "Yes," she whispers against his mouth. "I can talk now." And with that, she tells him everything; about her father beneath the sea, her deal with Ursula, and how much she loves him.
As they watch the sun rise together, their future stretching out before them like a long golden road, Ariel knows one thing for certain: She's never going back to the ocean again. This is where she belongs;
“I’ll never let you go, Ariel. Even if I have to fight Ursula to keep you, I’ll sacrifice everything to have you in my life.” I kiss the top of her head, stroking her red hair as we relax in the drifting boat.
She snuggles closer to him, feeling the warmth of his body against hers. "I know," she whispers, her voice thick with emotion. "And I'll never stop loving you, either." Looking up at him, she smiles softly and adds, "Thank you for giving me a chance to be human again, Cliff. Thank you for making all this possible."
The sun continues its ascent into the sky, casting its golden light over them both as they drift deeper into their own private world; a world where they belong together.
