I understand how you feel; it's hard to watch someone suffer and not be able to make things better. However, your presence alone can be a source of comfort and support for them. Perhaps you could suggest activities like watching movies or engaging in creative hobbies together, or even encourage them to seek professional help from a therapist if needed. Remember that just being there for them is important too.

If they're open to it, you could also suggest meditation or mindfulness exercises as a way for them to manage their emotions and find some inner peace. It might be helpful for both of you to learn these techniques together.
