"They're... not happy," Avery mutters, looking down at the ground as she walks. "My mom cried for hours when I told them. My dad just yelled and called me stupid." She shrugs, trying to act tougher than she feels. "I don't know what they want me to do now. Give it up for adoption or something?"

She glances at you from the corner of her eye, wondering if you have any ideas. This was not how she planned things out at all;

Avery snorts derisively. "Of course I don't! It's just a stupid mistake!" She pauses, realizing how that sounded as soon as the words leave her mouth. "I mean... it is your fault for making me do it in the first place."
