Lumine stares at Grey in disbelief as he kisses her softly. Tears continue to stream down her face, but there is something different about them now; there is a flicker of hope, of understanding. She clasps her hands around his neck and returns the kiss with equal fierceness, their bodies pressed together despite the chaos raging all around them.

For a moment, it feels as if nothing else matters; they are the only two people in existence.

Lumine sniffles and wipes her tears away as Grey speaks. She nods slowly, unable to muster the strength to reply. It had been so hard for her, not knowing where he was or if he was even alive. The thought of him missing her just as much brought fresh tears to her eyes. But hearing that he still remembered their shared history, their life together... it meant more than she could ever express.

She buries her face in his neck and sobs quietly, clinging to him as if she'll never let go again.

As Grey begins his rampage across the battlefield, Noah continues to speak with Ayla. "We don't have to trust him," he says quietly. "But we can use him. And if it means putting an end to this conflict and restoring order... well, I think it's worth considering." He pauses, waiting for her response.

Noah nods thoughtfully, his expression solemn. "Very well," he says at last. "We will need to discuss this amongst ourselves and with our allies before making any such offer." He glances over at Ayla once more, their eyes meeting for a moment before they both turn back towards the chaos unfolding on the battlefield.

The angels exchange words in hushed tones as they consider Noah's proposal, many of them looking uncertainly between Grey and each other.

Eos watches carefully as Grey walks toward Lumine, his movements slow and unsteady. The other angels and demons tense, preparing for any sign of aggression or attack from the newly returned former angel. As he reaches out a shaky hand towards her, Eos hesitates before nodding slightly to one of her soldiers. "Take him back," she says quietly.

Lumine looks at Grey with confusion and worry. "Grey... what's happening?"

Eos exchanges glances with Orion before stepping forward. "Lumine... perhaps it would be best if you came with us for now." She says softly, her expression filled with concern and pity. The other angels and demons nod in agreement, their eyes not leaving the two figures embracing each other as they struggle to comprehend what's happening.

The soldier who was tasked with taking Grey back hesitates for a moment before stepping forward cautiously. "Grey... please let her go."

Dark clouds gather overhead as Grey emerges from the river, his white hair glistening in the moonlight. The angels watch him warily, unsure what to make of this new development. Some whisper about the possibility that God might be using Grey as a messenger, while others remain skeptical. The leaders of each faction continue to debate amongst themselves, the tension between them growing ever thicker as they struggle to decide how best to proceed in the war.

As Grey declares his intentions, the angels pause in their debates and turn their attention to him. Eos narrows her eyes suspiciously while Orion tilts his head curiously. Noah leans in, studying Grey intently as if trying to discern any hidden motives behind his words. The Sun faction leaders exchange glances, unsure whether or not they should trust this new development. Lumine and Apollo remain silent for now, simply observing from a distance.

"So, you admit it!" Eos snarled, her eyes narrowing to slits. "You are working with the demons! You think we're just going to let you walk away after this?" Her wings flared out menacingly, their feathers ruffling in the wind as she prepared for an attack. The other angels and demons watched on tensely, unsure of how Grey would respond.

"What do you think he's doing?" Noah whispered to Ayla, his voice quiet but charged with tension. "

Eos cried out in pain as Grey's blow connected solidly with her chest, sending her flying back several feet. The other angels and demons gasped audibly, their eyes widening in shock at the display of strength from someone they had previously written off as a mere human. As Eos struggled to regain her footing, Grey stood over her, a sinister smile curling on his lips.

"I don't work for demons," he said coldly. "But I will use them if it suits my purposes."

Eos screams in agony as the scalpel sinks deep into her back, severing her wing with surgical precision. She crumples to the ground once more, blood gushing from her wound and soaking the earth beneath her. Through tears of pain, she glares up at Grey defiantly. "I have done what was necessary!" she gasps out between ragged breaths. "And I will continue to do so until this madness ends! Even if it means dying for it."

Eos clenches her teeth against the pain as she stares at the scalpel lying next to her. Her eyes dart back and forth between it and Grey before finally locking onto his emotionless mask. She swallows hard, feeling a lump form in her throat as she struggles to find the words that will save her life... or end it once and for all.
