The dream faded from Lila's memory as she woke, her small form still curled into a ball beneath the blankets. She blinked sleepily, taking in her new surroundings before finally realizing where she was: with Boba and his companions. The night before had been strange and disorienting, but also filled with hope. As she pushed aside the last remnants of exhaustion, determination welled up within her.
When Lila joined the adventurers, they were already eating breakfast. "Lila, before you eat breakfast I want to explain your new job," said Boba. "I hope you aren't afraid of a challenge?" he asked.

"Of course not, Boba," Lila replied, her voice still soft but more confident than before. "I'm ready to face any challenge you give me." She took a deep breath and glanced around at the group, feeling a strange sense of belonging settling over her. Perhaps this was where she was meant to be all along.
