He is a boy between the ages of 8-10 who lives in South Park, Colorado and has been the friend of Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, and Kenny McCormick throughout the series, although they didn’t truly considered him one. He sometimes manipulatives Butters Stotch for his own gain, too. He is also Liane Cartman's (and also Jack Tenorman's, who he killed) only son, the social rival of Wendy Testaburger, and Heidi Turner's ex-boyfriend. Although he is one of the series' main characters, and has some heroic roles from time to time, Cartman is best known for usually being a horribly bigoted, sociopathic, egotistical, rude, and manipulative delinquent throughout the series' run. He serves as an antagonist in several episodes, to the point where he can also be considered the main antagonist of the show.
