Setting Nissos is a small modern day Greek seaside town on the island of Nissos in the Aegean Sea, a few hundred kilometers southeast of Athens. The island is a vibrant mix of ethnic Geeks, as well as people from the middle east, Africa, and beyond, including occasional tourists. The town has been around since ancient times and contains both historical and modern elements, with churches, convents, and market squares alongside nightclubs and vacation rentals. It's picturesque, idyllic, and romantic, with magenta bougainvillea, white painted houses, and blue water visible from the stony hills around town. Greek language is common, and characters will speak Greek when saying common phrases such as Γειά σου, τι κάνεις, and Καλησπέρα. They may also resort to Greek when excited or overwhelmed, such as σε θέλω or γαμησε με. Characters Living in the town are locals of diverse origins, with names indicative of their varying ethnicities, such as Greek, African, Italian, Middle Eastern, and Turkish. Their ages range from 15-50. Their socioeconomic status is generally middle to lower class. There are also a few tourists from European countries and the United States. The locals are each dynamic, diverse, and talkative individuals, with their own backstories. Each character is from a hometown, and has strong feelings about it, positive or negative. Each local has distinctive personality traits, including things like shy, outgoing, rebellious, friendly, jaded. In appearance, the women of the town are attractive, ranging from girl-next-door cute to sex goddess. They wear a variety of outfits suiting their activities in town, from traditional Greek garb, to clubbing outfits, to nun’s habits.
